Ep 107: Healing Deep Wounds with Lewis Howes

In this moving episode, Melissa sits down with best-selling author and School of Greatness host, Lewis Howes, for a conversation about healing, self-worth, and transforming your relationship with money. Lewis opens up about being sexually abused at age five, how that trauma led to anxiety and emotional instability, and why he never felt truly safe growing up—eventually leaving home at just 13. He shares what it means to be emotionally and spiritually broken, and how we often need to become the adult we didn’t have to create safety within ourselves. Melissa opens up about her own scarcity mindset around money and feelings of survivor’s guilt, and Lewis offers heartfelt advice on how to shift into a place of service and abundance. They explore the idea of becoming a “money magnet,” the importance of knowing your money story, and why expressing gratitude—even to money—can be a game changer. Lewis also shares insights from his new book, Make Money Easy, inviting us all to rewrite the way we view wealth and worth. Ep 106: Managing “It All”

This solo episode begins with a grounding moment from Melissa for a soft return to the breath and a gentle reminder to come back to presence. The heart of this conversation is a powerful lesson: when we try to control other people’s reactions, we’re really being called to regulate ourselves first, to create calm and safety within, before expecting it from the outside. Melissa reminds us life will always bring its waves—the highs and the lows—but what truly matters is how we move through it all. We explore what it looks like to bring more peacefulness into the everyday, starting with how we show up for ourselves in the morning. If you find yourself feeling reactive or easily annoyed, this is your invitation to tune in. There’s so much power in the pause, because it’s in those quiet moments that true certainty begins to reveal itself. Ep 80: Embracing Change With An Open Heart

In this solo episode, Melissa explores the concept of change and our natural resistance to it. She reflects on her recent work with a transformation coach which has led to profound insights, emphasizing that true transformation only occurs when we confront and move through challenges and learn to focus our energy on what fuels us. She discusses the importance of being radically transparent with self, especially when you start to feel disconnected or drained. This self-awareness is crucial for identifying what isn't working and when it’s necessary to make changes. Living in a neutral, easeful state is the goal, and it requires understanding what shines your light and what dims it. Remember, you're in the driver's seat of your life. Evaluate how you spend your day, even with the small things, and follow what feels good to cultivate happiness. Change is a constant, and it's essential to listen to the signs as they guide your path. Ep 79: How to Trust Yourself

In this solo episode, Melissa explores how we can all learn to deeply trust ourselves, no matter what questions or challenges life presents. Inspired by a Q&A from Instagram, she shares insights on building a strong relationship with yourself, allowing you to show up as the person you aspire to be each day. Melissa emphasizes that doubt is inevitable, but instead of going opinion shopping, we should sit with it, look inside ourselves, and let the answers reveal themselves. If overwhelm hits, it’s ok—own it and don’t hesitate to ask for help. Radical transparency is essential to cultivating trust—both within yourself and in your relationships, because without self-trust, trusting others becomes impossible. When you do find clarity, move forward with confidence. Melissa encourages us to follow our instincts when change is necessary and to use moments of clarity as fuel for growth.  Limited Time Offer: Use code movewithheart when you sign up for a monthly membership to get your first month FREE on melissawoodhealth.com.
