Summary

As Melissa steps into her 42nd year on this earth, she takes a moment to reflect on what birthdays bring up for her and how she’s learned to shift her energy to embrace each day with excitement. Birthdays can unearth feelings we often try to avoid, but Melissa shares how facing them head-on has been transformative. She dives into some hard-earned lessons, like not feeling the need to follow everything her friends may be doing, understanding the weight of our words, and recognizing the power of truth in becoming our best selves. In her 30s, she discovered her voice and clarified her highest priorities, deepening her connection to who she truly is. With every year, she feels more alive, grounded in the belief that when you truly believe, you become. At the heart of it all, Melissa reminds us that joy is our birthright.
