Ep 951. Tabletop Takeoff: a calming bedtime and naptime story for children

Bozz, Rozz, and Mozz racecar are stuck inside on a snowy day and get to try something new! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 4:08 Tabletop Takeoff Excerpt: Today was a cold winter day, and Bozz, Rozz, and Mozz, the toy cars, were stuck inside. They looked out the window and could see snow coming down heavily. The flakes were white and pretty, but the cars knew it was cold and wet. Their little boy, Mike, would not be taking them outside to play today. Instead, Mike was setting up the racetrack on the coffee table in the living room. Their racetrack was in the shape of an 8, with one hill in the center. Most of the time, their racetrack was stored on Mike’s dresser, or even sometimes put away in a box. But when Mike wanted to play, usually he set up the track on the floor of his bedroom. So this is why Mozz, Bozz, and Rozz were so excited, despite the snowy weather: they were on a new adventure in a new room! The three little cars waited patiently on the living room carpet as Mike finished setting up the track. Today’s Meditation: Feel calm and relaxed as you imagine a baby elephant and its mama. Ep 950. Dragon’s Painted Picnic: a relaxing kids’ meditation and bedtime story

Dragon returns to The Art Nook to help paint a happy mural. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:37 Dragon’s Painted Picnic Excerpt: Today was a very special day. Dragon was incredibly excited and had been up since the first hint of daylight appeared on the horizon, waiting for the sun to fully emerge. The air was a perfect temperature that felt both refreshing and comfortable. It was still so early that Dragon had plenty of time to mosey along the forest path that led to the edge of town. Today, Dragon was heading to The Art Nook. It was an art studio in the center of town. People could go there to take all sorts of art classes and buy art supplies. A short while ago, the studio’s owner decided there should be a mural on the brick building’s side, and invited everyone on Ahway Island to help. Today’s Meditation: Imagine drawing gentle shapes in the soothing sand as you relax before today's story. Ep 503. A Song in the Woods: a relaxing meditation and kid’s story

Billy hears a noise coming from the woods. He and his sister Emily look for the source of the mysterious sound. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “A Song in the Woods,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 8:48 A Song in the Woods Excerpt: As they made their way into woods, the sound grew louder and louder. But then, as the trees surrounded Billy and Emily, the trilling suddenly stopped. The two children looked around. Plants with large, heart-shaped leaves covered the ground, but the children couldn’t see any animals that could be making the sound. Billy and Emily looked at each other, puzzled. Nodding to each other, they began walking again, but as soon as they moved, the trilled song began again. This time, Billy and Emily each stepped towards a different tree. Billy stood by a big maple tree, and Emily stood by a smaller sapling. The trilling continued but didn’t seem to be coming from either the maple or the sapling. Billy moved over toward an old tree stump, and Emily stood beneath a tall pine. They could still hear the trilled song, but the source of the sound was not the tree stump or the pine tree. Today’s Meditation: Gently sway like the graceful willow tree in today's meditation. Looking for stories with positive learning moments for your little one?  You'll find them on Ahway Island®. Ep 949. Showing Up: a bedtime story and mindful story for kids

Acadia and Ahanu Pika are supposed to meet Dragon today, but Acadia wants to stay in bed. What will she do? Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:32 Showing Up Excerpt: A few of these boulders were so close together that they made a nice spot for two little pikas to make their home. Tucked safely in the space beneath the rocks, Acadia Pika began to wake up. She yawned and slowly sat up. The little pika scratched her round ears and shook the morning dew from her soft, brown fur. Acadia peeked outside the rocky entrance of the nook and saw how foggy it was. Grey and misty mornings like this were perfect for staying in bed. Acadia was about to try and return to sleep when she heard a happy chirp from outside. Today’s Meditation: Imagine that you are a graceful willow tree in today's meditation. Ep 948. Treasured Moments: a soothing story and meditation

Wilma Willow treasures the moments of a beautiful autumn day. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:53 Treasured Moments Excerpt: Wilma the Willow Tree stood gracefully at the edge of the babbling creek; her long, elegant branches swayed gently in the crisp autumn breeze. The wise old willow watched the gently flowing water with awe. She loved the way it danced and shimmered around the stones scattered across the creek bed. Today, as on many days, little fish played their favorite game in the creek. They swam against the flowing water with all their strength, their tiny fins moving as fast as they could go. Then, suddenly, the fish relaxed their bodies entirely, letting the current take them back downstream. Up they would swim again, only to let go and drift back down the creek. Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine you are a baby penguin snuggled close to its papa. Creating the original bedtime stories and art for Be Calm on Ahway Island takes a lot of time and care. Please enjoy “A Trip to the Sand Dunes,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 8:33 A Trip to the Sand Dunes Excerpt: It was a calm morning on Ahway Island. It was still very early in the morning, but it was obvious it was going to be a beautiful day. No clouds hid the remaining stars still twinkling in the deep blue sky. Sitting outside looking up at the sky, Bodhi the Beach Buggy watched the sunrise. Red light began to peek under the darkness, then orange, and then finally, as the sun rose over the horizon, the sky flooded with light. As the sun continued to rise, Bodhi watched as the sky slowly changed into the clearest and bluest sky he had ever seen. There was not a cloud in sight. Sunlight shined on Bodhi and warmed his seat. He rumbled happily. It was a beautiful day for a drive. At least Bodhi thought so. He hoped his driver would feel the same! Ep 947. Harvest Helpers: a calming nap time story for children

Ian and Mike go back to the garden to pick the fruits and vegetables that are ready. Ian has an idea for sharing the garden's bounty with the community. Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:43 Harvest Helpers Excerpt: Sunshine had barely reached Mike Stein’s window when he woke up with a grin and sprang out of bed. Today was going to be special. It was finally time to return to the community garden with his friend Ian and see what had grown. Last time they’d gone to the garden, lots of vegetables were ripe for picking, but he and Ian hadn’t brought anything to carry them in. Today, Mike needed to be ready…though he wasn’t sure what exactly they would need. Mike got dressed quickly and made his way into the kitchen, where his dad was cooking breakfast. They shared a delicious meal and then tidied up together. As Mr. Stein was putting away the plates, he looked at his son. “Are you ready to walk to Ian’s?” he asked. Ep 946. Positive Peanut: a soothing kid’s story when you need a break

Skyler Skunk helps Peanut Squirrel get through a grumpy morning. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:56 Positive Peanut Excerpt: As Skyler neared his den, he heard a soft rustling coming from a nearby bush.  The skunk perked up his ears and looked toward the bush, wondering who might be there – at this early hour, it could be anyone: night creature, or day creature. Sure enough, Skyler saw a small figure emerge from the underbrush. It was Peanut Squirrel! Her head hung low, and her fluffy tail was drooping. Skyler tilted his head with concern. Usually, Peanut was full of energy, always darting from branch to branch, but today, that bouncy energy was nowhere to be seen. Skyler decided to step a bit closer and check if she was okay. As she had approached the island, she had seen a beautiful sandy beach. Ep 945. Dragon’s Ice Cream Dream: a calming children’s story

Dragon really wants some ice cream from the ice cream shop, but doesn't have any way to buy it. Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:29 Dragon’s Ice Cream Dream Excerpt: Truth be told, Dragon had never actually had ice cream before, either.  Dragon had only observed others eating it. Some ate their ice cream out of a cup, using a spoon. Others licked their ice cream out of a cone. This was the way that Dragon longed to try it – right from a cone. Dragon imagined the sweet taste of the ice cream followed by crunchy bites of cone. Just the thought made Dragon’s tummy rumble. They hoped one day they could try it for real. Dragon’s good friend Odin owl had once told them that sometimes, you don’t get what you want right away, and you have to be patient. But right now, Dragon was tired of being patient. Dragon was hungry and thirsty, and on this hot, sunny day, ice cream seemed like the perfect treat. Bailey Bat has a hurt wing, and it's really hard not to fly! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:54 Bat Needs a Break Excerpt: Up high in the sturdy oak tree, Bailey Bat rested inside her cozy bat house. The big wooden box was nestled in a thick cluster of branches, which provided a peaceful spot for Bailey and her friend Bertie Bat to sleep during the day. Bailey adjusted her position to get comfortable, paying close attention to how her wing felt. It had been a few days since her wing had gotten hurt during a nighttime flight. All the flowers had been excited to open themselves up to the brightness of the day as the warmth of the sun’s rays settled on their petals. Their sweet scents wafted on the breeze, drifting across the fields until they reached the tall stalk of grass on which a little ladybug was sleeping. Leticia Ladybug had been fast asleep all morning, cozily curled up on the bright green stalk of grass. The stalks had been waving gently in the breeze, back and forth, back and forth. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:34 Museum Mission Excerpt: As the car rolled along, each of the friends thought about what part of the museum they were most excited for. Each of them had their own favorite area. Andy loved seeing the Brachiosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus Rex in the dinosaur exhibit and never got tired of looking at the fossils and bones in the collection. Allie usually wanted to see the airplanes and spaceships. No matter how many times she saw them, she always noticed something new she hadn’t noticed before. Owen’s favorite exhibit was all about the human body. This exhibit included interactive displays that Owen never got bored of exploring. Takoda Teddy bear is left at home when Jeff goes to a sleepover. What will he do? Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:41 Sleepover Snuggles Excerpt: Maybe Jeff sensed Takoda’s confusion because he began to explain: “I’m going to a sleepover at Mark’s friend’s house.  They’re older, and I don’t think any of them sleep with stuffed animals anymore…” Jeff gently placed Takoda back on the bed, and spoke even more softly. “I don’t want them to laugh at me.” Takoda felt a little sad. Callie had spent the morning playing with her toys in her new bedroom. Callie’s family had just moved to their new house on Ahway Island, and most of the moving boxes were unpacked, including the boxes of Callie’s toys. This was the first time Callie had a chance to play with her toys in her new bedroom, so she enjoyed letting her toys explore their new environment. Ep 941. Feeling Better: a soothing story and children’s meditation

Sachi the snake is feeling irritable today, but learns that it's all part of growing up! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:28 Feeling Better Excerpt: Today, the little snake looked a bit faded. His usual deep green appeared a bit gray. The patterns on his skin had disappeared. His bright yellow stripe looked white. Even the sparkle in his eyes seemed clouded over. Sachi felt…off. He didn’t feel sick, exactly, just…strange. His back was uncomfortable. His belly was uncomfortable. His tail was uncomfortable. And he felt grumpy. Everything just felt more difficult today, which was why he was trying to find a nice resting place. Today’s Meditation: Imagine that you are a graceful willow tree in today's meditation. Ep 940. Snowy Slope: a calming bedtime story and meditation

Lisa's getting ready for her first big ski jump, and she feels a bit nervous! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:55 Snowy Slope Excerpt: Bright sun sparkled on the fresh snow of Ahway Island’s ski slopes. The laughter of skiers young and old echoed across the mountain as they zipped down the hills or practiced their skills. On this lovely winter day, Lisa stood at the top of the biggest hill she had ever faced.  She gripped her ski poles tightly with her mittened hands. This hill had a small dip and a smooth upward ramp at the bottom, designed to send skiers into the air. The jump ahead wasn’t very large by grown-up standards, but to Lisa, it looked enormous. This would be her first real jump. Today’s Meditation: Love flows through you in this meditation as you imagine a baby fawn and mama deer. Ep 497. A Purple Elephant: a relaxing meditation and kid’s story

Cassius Coloring Book is worried when the children start coloring outside the lines with unusual colors. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “A Purple Elephant,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 8:43 A Purple Elephant Excerpt: It was a beautiful morning on Ahway Island. Two children were just finishing their lessons. Every morning their parents, who were also their teachers, read books with them. Sometimes the books were about imaginary things, like stories about dinosaurs who went to the park to play on dinosaur swing sets. Sometimes the books were factual, filled with explanations about how trains work or how ice cream is made. The children liked both types of books equally. After they read with their parents, the children studied mathematics. The children enjoyed using small blocks in different sizes to help them add and subtract. Once math was finished, it was time for lunch and then time to play outside. Today’s Meditation: Gently sway like the graceful willow tree in today's meditation. Ep 939. Popcorn Adventure: a relaxing bedtime story

Dragon shares some popcorn fun with Callie and Anora at the park! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:52 Popcorn Adventure Excerpt: The two girls ran over to the swing set, giggling all the while. They each tried to swing as high as they could, imagining what it would be like if you could swing all the way over the top bar. The wind tore through their hair as they swung, and their laughter echoed through the park. Callie took a break from swinging and slowed down.  As she touched her feet to the wood chips below, she spotted something out of the corner of her eye – something green peeking out from the forest at the edge of the park. Ep 938. Helping Honeybee: a soothing story and guided meditation

Hope Honeybee and Bert Bluejay come upon a tired Mac Monarch as they're collecting nectar. How can they help their new friend? Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:36 Helping Honeybee Excerpt: On this particular day, Hope Honeybee awoke in her cell inside the beehive. She stretched her wings with a cheerful buzz. The rest of the hive buzzed happily in return; it seemed everyone was just as excited to greet the day as Hope was. The little honeybee wiggled out of her cozy cell and toward the entrance of the hive.  On her way, she would pass by the Queen’s chamber. Hope paused for a moment to brush her antennae with her tiny legs, making sure they were tidy after a good night’s sleep. When she felt ready, she continued down the golden hallway. Winona admired the white stripe racing down her side as it shimmered in the morning light. Suddenly, she heard a little rumble and eagerly turned to see the garage door slowly rolling up. Henry is excited for the fist day of choir, but he can't find his favorite shit to wear. Will he make it on time? Narrator: Male Story Begins: 4:32 Late, Late, Late Excerpt: Henry stirred under the covers. He blinked sleepily, then stretched with a big yawn. He looked around. It was still pretty dark. That meant it was early.  He still felt a little tired. “Do you remember what day it is?” asked his mami. Henry’s mind was still foggy from sleep, and it took him a moment to process what she’d said. Ep 936. Finch Fun: a short story and meditation for kids

Gus Goldfinch discovers a rooftop window and decides to have some fun! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 4:03 Finch Fun Excerpt: Gus flew over a neighborhood he visited quite frequently. He saw familiar houses.  Many neighbors were out and about on this beautiful day.  Kids played in their backyards. Adults hung their laundry to dry or grilled on the barbecue. Gus smiled to see the way everyone was enjoying the nice weather. As he flew, a glint caught Gus’s eye, something he had never noticed before in all the times he’d soared over this neighborhood. There, on the roof of a little brick house, was something shiny and round. It looked smooth, almost like a tiny pond, but with no water and no ripples. Just a gleam of reflected sunlight. Ep 494. A Creative Mess: a story and relaxation for kids

Helen and her friends Brianna and Rogelio are painting together, but painting can get messy. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “A Creative Mess,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 8:30 A Creative Mess Excerpt: Helen stopped painting for a moment to admire her art. She was painting a picture of her house, her family, and her dog. A big, bright orange sun lit up the upper right corner of the painting. Green grass dotted with flowers filled the yard in the front of the house. To the side of the house, Helen had painted her family and her dog. Painting people and animals was more difficult than houses and flowers, Helen thought. But still, she was pleased with how everything was looking. She especially liked that her house in the painting had a bright red door. In real life, her house’s door was brown. Helen always wanted to have a bright red front door, but her parents didn’t think that was necessary. But that’s one reason why Helen liked painting so much — she could make things whatever color she wanted! If she wanted a blue sun and a purple moon, then she would paint a blue sun and a purple moon! Today’s Meditation: Relax in the grass as you imagine sunlight warming you from head to toe. Ep 935. Spinning Thoughts: a calming meditation and kid’s story

When the contractor announces the day's project, Constance the concrete mixer repeats the same spinning thoughts in her mind. How will she get unstuck? Narrator: Male Story Begins: 4:24 Spinning Thoughts Excerpt: Constance heard footsteps outside the garage door. The garage door began to rise with a low rumble, letting the sunshine in. When her driver opened her door and started her engine, Constance could barely contain her excitement.  She couldn’t wait to learn what today’s assignment was. She was pretty sure she’d heard the contractor say that they would be making a driveway today. Driveways were one of Constance’s favorite projects. Constance felt her wheels gently turn as her driver guided her outside. Soon, the sound of more engines filled the yard as other construction vehicles were guided out of their garages. Dory and Drevan, the dump trucks, rolled up beside Constance. Today’s Meditation: Picture floating in the safe and comforting waters of a tranquil pool. Daichiki Dolphin makes a surprising new friend in the Ahway Island cove! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:40 Floatie Friend Excerpt: Daichiki Dolphin drifted near the surface of the water, watching the light dance beneath him. The sunshine made beautiful patterns that twinkled on the sandy bottom. Feeling energetic, the little dolphin twirled in a circle and then did a flip, leaping out of the water. When he came back down with a splash, Daichiki looked around to see if anyone saw his neat trick. Nope.  No one seemed to be watching.  Daichiki peered over to where his dolphin pod liked to rest. Sure enough, most of his friends were relaxing. Some were floating peacefully with their eyes half-closed, while others were slowly paddling in sleepy circles. Dragon wakes up to find their cave blocked by snow, but gets some unexpected help! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:49 Snow Dragon Excerpt: Dragon pondered why it was so dark. Was it cloudy? Or maybe it was snowing.  Dragon hoped there was snow.  Dragon loved snowy days.  With a hopeful smile, Dragon went to the cave entrance to investigate. Well, Dragon had gotten their wish – it was a snowy day. In fact, it was so snowy that the entrance to the cave was completely blocked! From the floor to the ceiling of the opening, fluffy snow had piled up. The barrier glowed softly, suggesting that it was sunny outside. Dragon sighed. Sunny and snowy? It was a perfect day for making snow creatures.  But first, the snow needed to be cleared. Today’s Meditation: Imagine drawing gentle shapes in the soothing sand as you relax before today's story. Ep 491. Songs in the Air: a short story for kids

A family of geese is flying home to Ahway Island for the spring. They sing songs together together to keep each other entertained. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Songs in the Air,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 9:34 Songs in the Air Excerpt: White puffy clouds dotted the pale blue sky. The air was starting to warm as a soft breeze blew across the sky. Now that the weather was getting warm and spring was on its way, many large flocks of geese were flying back to their summer homes on Ahway Island, after spending the winter months in other places. There were many geese families amongst the flocks. Each family flew in the shape of the letter “V,” which made it easier for the younger geese to fly for long distances. The wind was strongest at the front of the “V,” so usually one of the parents would fly in the front, and then the children would fly behind. Ep 929. Kindness Takes Root: a bedtime story and meditation for kids

Babette Bunny and Peanut Squirrel go to check on the chestnut seed they planted a few weeks ago. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 4:13 Kindness Takes Root Excerpt: Babette loved springtime. She loved Summer, Autumn, and Winter, too – but Spring! Spring had a special magic to it. Birds sang cheery tunes, celebrating their return from a winter vacation. Colorful, fragrant flowers bloomed all around. Streams babbled and bubbled, full of rainwater from the spring showers. New green growth pushed up everywhere in the forest, reaching toward the warm sunshine. Everything felt fresh and alive. Seeing the short, green sprouts poking up from the ground jogged Babette’s memory. She remembered the special morning months ago when she, Peanut squirrel, and Odin owl had planted a tiny chestnut seed in the open field by the creek. They had tucked it into the soft earth, gave it a drink of water, and whispered kind words, hoping it would grow big and strong. Birds and animals began stirring about, and the bravest flowers had started to poke themselves out of the cold earth for the first time in many months. Even the humans were getting ready for spring. At Helen’s house, Helen found her older brother Miles sitting at the kitchen table, sketching something on a piece of paper. Curious, Helen peeked over his shoulder. “What’s that?” she asked. The pine needles felt spongy beneath Dragon’s feet, and they cast a fresh scent in the air. Blips of sunlight dappled the ground and appeared to glitter as the tree branches swayed in the delicate breeze. In the distance, Dragon noticed the incessant chirp of a red winged blackbird amidst a chorus of frogs. Dragon glanced down, and immediately spotted a trail of industrious ants, some carrying items far bigger than their tiny bodies. Ducking down to observe the colony more closely, Dragon smiled. For being such miniscule creatures, the ants were one of the hardest working inhabitants of the Ahway Island Forest. They lifted objects that were many times bigger than they were and carried them over long distances, working as a team to build their nest and feed their community. Narrator: Female Story Begins: 11:00 Playing Together Excerpt: Today was the day that they had chosen for the play date. And although she was excited, Brianna was also a little nervous. This was the first time she had had a friend over to play at her house, other than her cousins, of course. Would Helen like her house? Would her mom and dad like Helen? What if Helen got bored? Brianna herself didn’t like feeling bored and certainly didn’t Helen to feel bored, especially not on her first time visiting Brianna! So Brianna decided she would plan the day from start to finish. That way, there would be no chance Helen would be bored! Today’s Meditation: Feel your muscles relax as you check in with your body from head to toe. Grubby Kitty finds a fun roll of paper when his humans aren't home. How will they react to the mess? Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:33 Playful Paper Excerpt: The warm sunshine sparkled through the window as Grubby Kitty leaned his front paws on the glass. Outside, a pair of yellow butterflies fluttered among the garden flowers. Grubby’s bright blue eyes followed the insects as they flitted about. Eventually, one came to land on the ledge just outside the window. Grubby stared at the butterfly with twitching whiskers. The butterfly’s wings opened and closed slowly, as if waving hello to the little kitty. Grubby gave a soft, friendly meow in return. Ep 485. The Colorful Ocean: a guided meditation and story for kids

Tanya the Sea Turtle goes for a swim by herself and enjoys the beautiful colors of her ocean neighborhood. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “The Colorful Ocean,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 8:47 The Colorful Ocean Excerpt: Tanya the Sea Turtle was swimming in the beautiful green-blue ocean waters that surrounded Ahway Island. Sunlight streamed through the clear and shallow waters, the light causing the ocean to sparkle beautifully all around her. Tanya’s favorite fish were the parrot fish. They had bright green tails, little multi-colored flippers, and their blue mouths looked just like beaks. The first time the little sea turtle saw a parrot fish, she almost giggled because it looked so much like a parrot! But she didn’t want to hurt the fish’s feelings so she kept her giggles inside. Although she loved the way the parrot fish looked, they were also her favorite because in her experience, they were also the friendliest. Anytime she saw one of the parrot fish, they immediately said hello and asked her how she was doing. Ep 922. A Day at the Dock: a kids’ mindful tale and relaxation

Wakely Water Scooter is having a tough time staying still, but he gets some advice from his friends to help. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:50 A Day at the Dock Excerpt: Wakely Water Scooter bobbed gently next to the lake dock, still secured with a rope. Just yesterday, Wakely’s family brought him out of storage and onto the lake. Wakely smiled as he remembered the fun he’d had zooming across its surface, splashing through waves, and feeling the wind rush past him. Wakely was eager to get out and go zooming once again, but his rider wasn’t here yet, so all he could do was float. At first, Wakely didn’t mind. The water rocked him gently, back and forth, back and forth. The warmth of the sun felt nice on his metal sides. The sound of the waves was enjoyable. Rebel, Rob, and Riley Raccoon noticed Ballet Bunny's snow roses and want to create their own. The little bunny follows them to their den to help. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 4:12 Raccoon Roses Excerpt: The little bunny looked out from under the shelter of the cozy pine and grinned. The world was quiet, white, and sparkly. Snow had fallen yesterday, and Ballet had used the fresh blanket to recreate her garden of snow roses. Some were big, round blooms, and some were little buds, but they all stood in a circle around her tree. Ballet loved looking at her snowy roses. They reminded her of summer. As Ballet gazed at them, she imagined the warmth of the sun on her fur, the soft petals brushing against her nose, and the sweet scent filling the air. Ep 480. The New Waterfall: a calming meditation and kid’s story

Rain falls in the forest, filling up Brooke, the little stream. But then she has an idea for what to do with all the fresh water! Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “The New Waterfall” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 11:15 The New Waterfall Excerpt: The sound of rain pitter-pattering filled the air, as the clouds slowly released their drops of water over the lush green forest. Raindrops were falling everywhere. All the animals scurried to find places to stay dry and listen to the rain. Most of the animals loved the sound of falling rain. It was so comforting! The sound was so soothing that the little bunnies curled up together under a pine tree to take a nap. The squirrels found it fun to watch the drops fall onto the ground. For the lively squirrels, it was especially fun to watch the rain splash into the puddles and into the stream that flowed gently through the cozy forest. The stream’s name was Brooke, and all the animals loved her very much. They always felt grateful to her for the fresh water she gave them to drink, for the scenic beauty she gave to the forest, and for the lovely music of her rushing waters. Today, Brooke herself was feeling refreshed as the newly fallen rain filled her banks. In fact, she was beginning to feel a little full now – a little too full, actually. It had been raining a lot lately. What could she do? The water was nearly at the top of her banks.
