After being told by doctor’s he would never walk again, Brian not only suffered from PTSD but severe depression, anxiety, and chronic pain from all the metal used to put his right leg back together. In October 2020 he taught his self how to walk and in February 2021 got back to the gym. The VA invited him to compete in the 2021 national veterans wheelchair games. Brian fell in love with shot put discuss and powerlifting! Brian got his Paralympic license in all 3. In 2022 Brian won 4 gold’s 1 being international, 3 SILVERS and 3 bronze. Brian is shooting to make Team USA for the 2028 paralympics in LA. Brian has started his own LLC called Big Country Athletics to help others with disabilities get into fitness and adaptive sports!
