December 3, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 58 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making several transactions on Tuesday as they get ready to play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. We discuss the waiving of CB Darius Slay and how the writing was on the wall for that move to happen. We also discuss Slay being waived with a non-injury settlement and what that may or may not mean. We also discuss the problems the Steelers have had when it comes to signing defensive players over the age of 30. The Steelers claimed former Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen off waivers on Tuesday so Alex and I discuss that transaction. We go over Thielen's fit on offense, how much playing time he might see, and what is addition to the 53-man roster might mean when it comes to WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who remains on the team's practice squad. We discuss the possibility of both Thielen and Valdes-Scantling playing on Sunday against the Ravens. The Steelers won't have DT Derrick Harmon (knee) on Sunday so we discuss what a big deal that might be when it comes to stopping the Ravens' rushing attack in Baltimore. We also make sure to go over the fact that CB James Pierre (concussion) and ILB Patrick Queen (glute) are starting the week off with questionable listings after both were injured in the game this past Sunday. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference and Tuesday, and he certainly gave us quite a few talking points to discuss. We roll through the notable things Tomlin said on Tuesday. The outcome of the Steelers Sunday game against the Ravens has a large swing of playoff probabilities attached to both teams so Alex and I go over what ESPN has listed. We also discuss how thereâs a good chance that the AFC North division might be won by a team with a 9-8 record. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday home loss to the Buffalo Bills now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the bad, ugly and very little good that we uncovered from that when it comes to the team's offensive, defensive, and special teams play. Should TE Jonnu Smith be sat down for Sunday's game against the Ravens? We go over some seldom-used stats related to how the Steelers' offense has performed so far this season when he is on and off the field. If Tomlin remains the head coach of the Steelers past the 2025 season, will and should the Steelers fire OC Arthur Smith and DC Teryl Austin? Alex and I make sure to address that question later in this show. This 110-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. December 1, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 57 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 13 Sunday home loss to the Buffalo Bills. As you can probably imagine, this show begins with a lot of gloom, despair, and agony vibes. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and how the Steelers decided to sit CB Darius Slay as one of their five inactive players against the Bills. The Steelers sustained a few injuries Sunday, so we discuss what happened to ILB Patrick Queen and CB James Pierre. We also discuss QB Aaron Rodgers getting beat up more on Sunday against the Bills. The Steelers made a few transactions on Saturday with one of those being T Broderick Jones being placed on the Reserve/Injured list. We discuss Jones likely being out for the season and the offseason decision the Steelers have with him when it comes to his fifth-year option. After going through the newsy items related to Saturday and Sunday, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium against the Bills. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' defense and how poor things looked on that side of the football once again. We discuss the historical day the defense had, clearly a negative, and how the Bills offense ran at will against the unit by essentially spamming just two plays. We discuss the Steelersâ defense being unable to get to Bills QB Josh Allen on Sunday and how he used his legs, instead of his arm, to really impact the game. We also discuss the coverage bust the Steelers defense had on his lone touchdown pass as well. After beating up on the defense, Alex and I go over the lackluster play from the Steelers offense against the Bills. We talk about the unit's inability to run many plays, the overall lack of a running game, and how there was no passing game down the field to speak of. We discuss a few poor decisions that QB Aaron Rodgers seemingly made against the Bills and how he remains out of sync with TE Jonnu Smith. We go over a few things Rodgers had to say postgame in addition to things that OLB T.J. Watt said to the media. We also discuss the reaction Mike Tomlin had to Sunday's loss postgame. We also talk about the poor offensive schemes and game plans that OC Arthur Smith has put on display recently. The "Fire Tomlin" chants are getting louder in Pittsburgh, so Alex and I discuss that topic. We discuss our faith and lack of faith in Tomlin moving forward. We discuss the Steelers only having two home games remaining and how Tomlin is probably thankful for that. Special teams certainly played a role in the Steelers' loss to the Bills, so Alex and I make sure to hit on what went wrong in that phase of the game on Sunday. Alex and I certainly arenât bullish at all on the Steelers when it comes to their final five games and thus playoff chances. This 109-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. November 28, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 56 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Buffalo Bills at home on Sunday afternoon. With the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens both losing on Thanksgiving, Alex and I discuss the importance of the Steelers beating the Bills at home on Sunday. We talk about how a loss to the bills could potentially limit the Steelers' Wild Card spot chances down to one spot, assuming they donât ultimately win the AFC North division. Alex and I move forward in this show by looking at the Steelersâ Thursday injury report, and specifically what the current outlook is for QB Aaron Rodgers, CB Joey Porter Jr., and WR Ben Skowronek when it comes to Sunday's game. We discuss the likelihood of OL Andrus Peat being the starting left tackle on Sunday with T Broderick Jones sidelined for this Week 13 contest. The Bills are dealing with several key injuries this week as well and so Alex and I recap what their Thursday report looked like and how it seems Buffalo is likely to be without their two starting tackles on Sunday. We also talk about the Bills recently signing veteran WR Bradin Cooks and the role he might have against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. We talk about what Smith had to say about hunting for more explosive plays on offense and what Austin had to say about some of the woes the team's defense has had. We welcome Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com back to the show on Friday, and he helps us preview the Steelers-Bills game. Parrino has covered the Bills for many seasons, and he certainly knows that team inside and out. We get his thoughts on several things related to the Sunday afternoon game in Pittsburgh and that includes his analysis of QB Josh Allen, OC Joe Brady, and the several injuries that Buffalo is dealing with this week. Parrino gives us his outlook for the 2025 Bills moving forward this season and while he doesnât give a final score prediction on Friday morning, he gives his early thoughts on how he sees the Sunday game in Pittsburgh going and which team he's leaning toward picking as the winner. If not already doing so, make sure to follow Matt on X/Twitter at @mattparrino and make sure to read his work here: https://www.syracuse.com/staff/mparrino/. After finishing with Parrino, Alex and I provide our own preview of the Steelers-Bills game. We break down what we are looking for out of each team on both sides of the football Sunday afternoon. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for the remainder of the Week 13 NFL games provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. November 26, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 55 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making a few practice squad transactions since our last show. We also discuss the news related to injured Steelers DL Daniel Ekuale being given a five-game suspension on Tuesday and the impact that has on him and the team. Alex and I then go over the list of injured Steelers players heading into Week 13 and that includes DT Derrick Harmon and T Broderick Jones already being ruled out for Sunday's home game against the Buffalo Bills. We discuss whether Calvin Anderson or Andrus Peat will replace Jones at left tackle on Sunday and if both DL Logan Lee and DL Brodric Martin-Rhodes will be active on Sunday with Harmon sidelined. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin addressed the health QB Aaron Rodgers on Tuesday, so we discuss the optimism he showed when it comes to the team possibly having their starter back on Sunday against the Bills. We also discuss the other injured players that Tomlin listed during his Tuesday press conference, As usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of Tomlin Tuesday. We discuss what Tomlin had to say about the team's loss to the Chicago Bears this past Sunday, the late illegal formation penalty in that game and what he said about the play of QB Mason Rudolph in that contest. We also discuss Tomlin focusing on special teams play to open his Tuesday press conference. Tomlin was asked about the usage of the middle of the field in the passing game on Tuesday, so we go over his comments on that subject. Alex and I also look at some passing stats related to deep and ultra deep attempts so far this season as it relates to usage of the middle of the field. We also recap Tomlin essentially glossing over the defensive schematics used on one of the touchdown passes the Bears had on Sunday. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday road loss to the Bears now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the good, bad and ugly that we uncovered from that when it comes to the offense, defense, and special teams. We start with the offense and go over the missed deep shots, the effectiveness of the running game, and the several second and long runs in that contest. After talking about the offensive play on Sunday, Alex and I move on to talk some about what we saw from the Steelers' defense on the All-22 tape from the Bears game. We go over the lack of pressure on Bears QB Caleb Williams in that Week 12 game, the opposing offenseâs ability to attack between the numbers in the passing game, and how that side of the football played against the Chicago running game. Alex and I mix in quite a few tape observations during this show and we make sure to discuss the recent play of several different players as well. Would it be a huge shock to most fans of the Steelers should the team beat the Bills on Sunday at home? We address that question later in this show. November 24, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 54 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 12 Sunday afternoon road loss to the Chicago Bears. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and how the Steelers decided to sit QB Aaron Rodgers as one of the team's five inactive players against the Bears. We discuss Rodgers not even being listed as the emergency third quarterback on Sunday. The Steelers sustained a few injuries during Sundayâs road loss to the Bears, so we discuss what happened to CB Joey Porter Jr. (hip), T Broderick Jones (stinger), and WR DK Metcalf (ankle) during the contest. We also discuss the prospects of Rodgers returning to action on Sunday for the team's week 13 home game. After going through the newsy items related to Sunday's game, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Soldier Field in Chicago. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' defense and how poor things looked on that side of the football. We discuss that unit's play against the run on Sunday and several plays of 10 yards or longer that were allowed. We also discuss the defenseâs inability to get pressure on Bears QB Caleb Williams on Sunday. The Steelers methodology and scheming late in the first half against the Bears really upset Alex and me. We also discuss the longest touchdown pass allowed by the Steelers defense on Sunday and how the coverage used on that play shouldn't have been completely utilized. After discussing the play of the Steelers' defense against the Bears, Alex and I then do the same when it comes to Pittsburgh's offense. We talk a lot about how QB Mason Rudolph played overall and his inability to effectively push the football down the field through the air. We discuss Rudolphâs intended air yard average as well as his completed air yard average. We also talk about how poorly Rudolph performed on Sunday when using play-action. While the Steelersâ running game was effective enough against the Bears, it still wasnt enough to help the passing game portion of the offense. The offensive line, in our opinion, played well overall. We discuss the tight end output, the overall lack of yards after the catch on Sunday, and much more. The illegal formation penalty on the Steelers offense late in Sundayâs game really disturbed Alex and me. We discuss how and why that shouldnât have happened and how a timeout should have been called to avoid the penalty. Special teams certainly played a role in Sunday's loss, so Alex and I make sure to hit on what went wrong in that phase of the game at Soldier Field. We make sure to discuss a few in-game decisions made by Steelers HC Mike Tomlin throughout this show as well. The Steelers are really just a mid team this year and that's been known for several weeks now. We discuss how hard it will be for the 2025 Steelers to not only win the AFC North division at this point but merely make the playoffs as well. November 21, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 53 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field. Alex and I start this show by looking at the Steelersâ Thursday injury report and specifically, what the current outlook is for QB Aaron Rodgers, RB Jaylen Warren, and OLB Alex Highsmith. We discuss the contraption that Rodgers wore on his injured left wrist on Thursday and he reportedly looked as a limited practice participant. We move forward from Pittsburgh's injury report heading into Friday to look briefly at the injured players that Chicago is currently dealing with. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. We discuss Smith possibly adding a wrinkle to the team's version of the tush push, how he feels about using RB Jaylen Warren and RB Kenneth Gainwell in any situation, and what it would take for rookie RB Kaleb Johnson to get more touches moving forward. As for Austin's Thursday comments, we discuss what he had to say about CB Cory Trice Jr. now being out for the rest of the season. We also talk about what Austin had to say about OLB Nick Herbig and OLB Jack Sawyer. We also go over Austin's thoughts on preparing to defend against Bears QB Caleb Williams on Sunday in Chicago. We welcome Adam Hoge of All City as a first timer to the show on Friday, and he helps us preview the Steelers-Bears game. Hoge has covered the Bears for many seasons, and he certainly knows that team inside and out. We get his thoughts on several things related to the Sunday afternoon game in Chicago and that includes his analysis of Williams and new HC Ben Johnson. Adam fills us in on the Bearsâ injuries, how CB Jaylon Johnson might be back this week and the impact that could potentially have. We also get his thoughts on Rodgers potentially playing on Sunday against the Bears, a team that he has a lot of history and success against dating back to when he was the longtime quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Adam talks about the Bearsâ offense and defense quite a bit in this interview, and we get his not-yet-set-in-stone prediction for the Sunday game at the end of the interview. November 19, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 52 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making a few transactions since our last show with one of those being the signing of QB/WR John Rhys Plumlee back to the practice squad on Tuesday. We talk about why Plumlee was likely added to the practice squad in addition to discussing why five other players were brough in for tryouts on Tuesday. Alex and I then go over the list of injured players the Steelers have heading into Week 12 with QB Aaron Rodgers obviously being our main focus due to a fracture of some kind in his left wrist. We discuss what all HC Mike Tomlin had to say on Tuesday about Rodgers possibly playing on Sunday against the Chicago Bears and whether our gut feelings tell us when it comes to that possibly happening. Should the Steelers strongly consider starting QB Mason Rudolph against the Bears regardless of what transpires this week with Rodgers? Alex and I attack that question in this show and also talk about the possibility of Rodgers being the backup on Sunday against the Bears. We also talk a little about rookie QB Will Howard possibly getting a few first-team reps this week with Rodgers slowed by injury. As usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of Tomlin Tuesday. We discuss what Tomlin had to say about playing time on Sunday for CB Darius Slay and CB James Pierre and if indeed the former will wind up resuming as the starter against the Bears if he clears concussion protocol this week. We discuss what playing time on Sunday might and should look like on Sunday against the Bears when it comes to both Slay and Pierre. Tomlin talked some about TE Darnell Washington and his usage in the offense on Tuesday, so we make sure to dive a bit deeper into those comments. We also talk about what Tomlin had to say about the reaction S Jalen Ramsey had to Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase spitting on him in the second half of the Week 11 Sunday game at Acrisure Stadium. With Chase having his one-game suspension upheld on Tuesday as part of his appeal process, Alex and I address what should happen to every player that spits on another player during a game and how the NFL needs to take a more defined punishment stance moving forward. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday home win against the Bengals now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the good, bad and ugly that we uncovered from that. We start with the defense and go over how that unit effectively did against the pass on Sunday and the changes that we have seen schematically the last several weeks with Ramsey and Kyle Dugger now manning the two safety positions. We also discuss the three outside linebacker packages the Steelers used on Sunday against the Bengals and how effective that was. After talking about the defensive play on Sunday, Alex and I move on to talk some about what we saw from the Steelers offense on the all-22 tape from the game against the Bengals. We were both less enthused when it came to that side of the football and we explain why. We also wonder if Rudolph might try to push the football down the field more on Sunday against the Bears should he indeed get the start in that contest over the injured Rodgers. Alex and I mix in quite a few tape observations during this show and we make sure to discuss the recent play of several different players as well. Alex previews a tape study that he is working on when it comes to Steelers DT Keeanu Benton as well. November 17, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 51 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 11 Sunday afternoon home win against the Cincinnati Bengals. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and the few transactions the team has made since our Friday show. Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers sustained a left wrist injury late in the first half of the Sunday game against the Bengals and it resulted in him leaving the contest at halftime. Alex and I discuss the latest reports concerning that injury and whether Rodgers will ultimately miss a game or more as a result of it. Sunday's game included Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase spitting on Steelers S Jalen Ramsey, and it resulted in the former being ejected from that contest due to him throwing a punch. We discuss how Chase lied after the game about spitting on Ramsey and whether he or Ramsey will be suspended for any future games. We talk about Ramsey's reaction to getting spit on and how such an act is unforgivable. After going through the newsy items related to Sunday's game, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium. We talk first about the play of the Steelers defense on Sunday and that includes us discussing the individual performances of several players. We talk about Chase being limited in the passing game, Bengals QB Joe Flacco holding the football longer, and obviously the two key takeaways for scores that were registered during the second half. Steelers CB James Pierre continues to play well on Sunday, so we discuss how he deserves to play ahead of CB Darius Slay moving forward. We also discuss the bad penalty called on Steelers OLB T.J. Watt on Sunday. After discussing the play of the Steelers defense against the Bengals, Alex and I then do the same when it comes to Pittsburgh's offense. We talk a lot about how QB Mason Rudolph played in the second half and how RB Kenneth Gainwell and TE Darnell Washington made a few game-changing plays during the contest as well. We discuss the role yards after the catch played in Pittsburg's win over the Bengals and we make sure to hit on a few snap counts from that contest on that side of the football. The Steelers converted a few key third downs on offense on Sunday so we make sure to talk about that. We make sure to point out that the Steelers offense really only had two offensive possessions in the second half of Sunday's game. Alex and I provide a few thoughts on Pittsburgh's special teams play on Sunday and that includes us focusing in on one punt return that WR Calvin Austin III had in that contest. November 14, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 50 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon at Acrisure Stadium Alex and I start this show off by looking at the Thursday injury report released by the Steelers. We discuss the few players to watch closely on the Friday report and whether CB Darius Slay will be able to play on Sunday due to him being in concussion protocol this week. Will WR Ke'Shawn Williams be active again this weekend as a returner? If he isnât, will rookie RB Kaleb Johnson be given another chance to return kickoffs? We address both of those questions early in this show. Alex and I also discuss the possibilities of both WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling and CB Asante Samuel Jr. being elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. While not a lot of pertinent information came out of those two media sessions, we address a few of the things both of the coordinators said. We welcome Jay Morrison of Sports Illustrated back to the show on Friday, and he helps us preview the Steelers-Bengals game. Morrison has covered the Bengals for many seasons, and nobody knows that team better than he does. I get his thoughts on several things related to the Sunday afternoon game in Pittsburgh. Jay fills us in on the Bengalsâ injuries, how QB Joe Flacco has fit in on offense the last several weeks, and the state of the Cincinnati locker room on the heels of their last two losses prior to bye week. Jay talks about the Bengalsâ offense and defense quite a bit in this interview, and we get his score prediction for the Sunday game at the end of the interview. If not already doing so, make sure to follow Jay on X/Twitter at @ByJayMorrison and make sure to read his work here: https://www.bengalstalk.com. After finishing with Morrison, Alex and I provide our own preview of the Steelers-Bengals game. We break down what we are looking for out of each team on both sides of the football Sunday afternoon. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for the remainder of the Week 11 NFL games provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. We also give our final score predictions for the Steelers-Bengals game. This 108-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted above and we end this episode by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Nov. 6 â Ep. 80: For this episode of The Depot Dive, Ross McCorkle and Joe Clark recap the disastrous game against the Los Angeles Chargers on primetime. They start by discussing Aaron Rodgers' bad game, and how he had very little help on offense around him to make up for it. We also talk about the defense looking good, but the other two phases letting them down. Next we talk we do a deep dive into the offense and try to answer the question of whether or not the offense can turn things around after a few bad games in a row. Can Marquez Valdes-Scantling help, and will he even play this weekend? For the final topic, we preview the Bengals game, including both teams' injury reports. We answer a listener questions about zone and man defense and which the Steelers are better suited for at the moment. November 12, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 49 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making several transactions since our last show with one of those being the signing of CB Asante Samuel Jr. to the team's practice squad. After going over all of the recent transactions, that also includes rookie QB Will Howard being activated to the 53-man roster from the Reserve/Injured list, Alex and I talk about what kind of player the Steelers are getting in Samuel. We also discuss the possibility of Samuel making his Steelers debut as early as Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers will have several notable injured players worth tracking these next few days, so Alex and I run through that list based on the information that HC Mike Tomlin provided on Tuesday during his weekly press conference. As usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of Tomlin Tuesday. We discuss what Tomlin had to say about S Jalen Ramsey, the Week 10 usage of RB Jaylen Warren, the possibility of WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling getting elevated sooner rather than later, and much more. Tomlin gave us several things to discuss on this Wednesday, so we spend quite a bit of time doing so. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday night road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the good, bad and ugly that we uncovered from that. We start with the offense and that includes a discussion about how poorly QB Aaron Rodgers played, the explosive plays he missed, the running game output, third down failures, and much more. Should WR Roman Wilson start receiving more playing time than WR Calvin Austin III moving forward? Alex and I discuss that topic as well as whether we are concerned about Rodgers coming off his poor showing on Sunday night. Alex and I make sure to discuss the play of the Steelers' defense against the Chargers and how that unit started to wear down in the second half. We look at the first half running success the Chargers' offense had in the first half related to the second half. Alex and I mix in quite a few tape observations during this show and we make sure to discuss the recent play of several different players as well. This 110-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. November 10, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 48 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 10 Sunday night road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday night inactive list, the few injuries sustained by the Steelers in their 25-10 loss to the Chargers, and the few transactions the team has made since our Friday show. The Steelers played very poorly on offense against the Chargers and QB Aaron Rodgers had a big hand in that. We discuss the offensive woes the Steelers had against the Chargers and that includes the unitâs ineffectiveness on third downs and the inability to produce explosive plays. We discuss a few huge misses that Rodgers had down the field and the running game only had just a few bright spots on Sunday night. The two interceptions are discussed in addition to the failed fourth and goal play. Overall, we struggle to produce very many positive things to say about Pittsburgh's offensive effort on Sunday night other than to conclude it was very offensive to watch. While the Steelersâ defensive play wasnt awful against the Chargers, the unit still failed to register any takeaways to go along with their five sacks of QB Justin Herbert. We discuss the good, bad, and the ugly when it comes to the Sunday night play of that side of the football. We discuss the quick snap to throw time of Herbert. The few big plays the Chargers offense registered, and much more. The Steelers werenât great when it came to special teams play on Sunday night, so we go over that phase of the game from the Sunday night loss as well. Should the Steelers be heavy favorites in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals? Is this more than just a middling 2025 Steelers team we are all watching? Are at least five more wins this season for the Steelers a lock? We discuss those several questions later on in this show. Will we soon see WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling get playing time on offense? Should such a thing happen in the coming weeks? Alex and I address those few questions late in this show as well. This 88-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. November 7, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 47 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night. The Steelers made a few more transactions since our Wednesday show so Alex and I go over the Addition of DT Brodric Martin-Rhodes and the waiving of OLB DeMarvin Leal. We also go over the fact that the Steelers now enter Friday with just a 52-man roster. Will Martin-Rhodes see action on Sunday night against the Chargers and how does he fit with the Steelers? Alex and I attempt to answer those two questions early in this show. We also discuss whether the Steelers will activate QB Will Howard from the Reserve/Injured list prior to the Sunday night game. Alex and I go over the injury report released by the Steelers on Thursday as we attempt to get a better handle on who might be out this week. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. As part of this conversation, Alex and I discuss how QB Aaron Rodgers has fit in with the Steelers so far and how it looks like he has a great relationship with Smith. Will the Steelers ultimately sign free agent CB Assante Samuel Jr.? We talk about the visits that he has taking this next week and his potential fit in Pittsburgh should he ultimately sign with the Steelers. With no opposing team beat writer to talk to this week, Alex and I provide our own preview of the Steelers-Chargers Sunday night game. We break down what we are looking for out of each team on both sides of the football Sunday night. We start by looking at the Chargers offense before talking in-depth about their defense. Several key stats and rankings for both the Steelers and the Chargers are mixed in throughout this preview as well. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for all of the Week 10 NFL games against the spreads using the lines provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. Nov. 6 â Ep. 79: For this episode of The Depot Dive, Ross McCorkle and Joe Clark start off the episode recapping the Steelers' big win over the Colts. How did the defense stop their skid against the league's best offense, and what changes can they learn from moving forward? We discuss all of that and more. Next we talk about the Steelers' inaction at the trade deadline and why that may have made the most sense given the inflated trade market. Pittsburgh also has an opportunity to keep adding to their roster with CB Asante Samuel Jr. We dive into how important another addition to the secondary is given the thin depth chart. Next, we preview Sunday Night's game against the Chargers, the injury report for both teams, and some matchups to watch. November 5, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 46 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers not making any deals to acquire additional players on Tuesday, the final day of the NFL's 2025 trade deadline. We go over how hard the Steelers likely tried to trade for a wide receiver on Tuesday and the players they reportedly attempted to deal for. We also talk about the price that a few players ultimately went for in other trades. Overall, Alex and I let it be known that we werenât surprised that the Steelers didnât make any trades on Tuesday. Alex and I talk about several of the trades that were made by other teams on Tuesday. The Steelers made a few practice squad transactions on Tuesday, so Alex and I make sure to recap those moves. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference on Tuesday and as usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of that session. We discuss what Tomlin had to say about Jalen Ramsey being moved to safety and the play on Sunday of new S Kyle Dugger. We also discuss Tomlin's thoughts on WR Roman Wilson and the running game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Tomlin commented briefly on Tuesday on the signing of WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to the practice squad, so we recap what he said about him. Tomlin ran down the health of the team on Tuesday so Alex and I go over that recap and what it might mean when it comes to the team's injury report for Week 10. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday afternoon home win against the Colts now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the good, bad and ugly that we uncovered. We start with the offensive play on Sunday and that includes a discussion about lack of explosive plays the unit has produced so far this season. We also have another healthy discussion about the solid play turned in by the Steelers defense on Sunday. Should there be concern when it comes to the Steelers relying heavily on takeaways from the team's defense? Alex and I discuss that question that seems to be a popular one to start this week. Alex and I mix in quite a few stats during this show and we make sure to discuss the recent play of several different players as well.
