On Wednesday, the NFL released the slate of international games that

will be played during the 2026 season. There will be games played in other countries in nine of the

first 11 weeks of the season, starting with a week one match between the 49ers and Rams in

Melbourne, Australia. Needless to say, there were mixed reactions to the reveal.

In general, coaches and players hate these games.

For them, it's a business trip,

and the opportunities to enjoy visiting a city abroad are limited, if at all.

The long flights are exhausting,

and managing the time difference can be tough.

The coaches don't like the lack of control compared to the normal home and away games.
