Kizora. Last week, my Terrible Take focused on four stats the Pittsburgh Steelers defense must

improve. Now it's time to examine the offense. There are two figures that go hand in hand,

air yards per completion in 20 plusplus yard pass plays. Pittsburgh was

poor in both. The team was especially bad in the former. In 2025, Pittsburgh averaged 3.4

air yards per completion. Not only was at the NFL's lowest mark, it was a full yard lower

than the next closest team, the Raiders

in Browns, at 4.4. Data like this has been tracked since 2018, and the Steelers mark was the worst

of any NFL team over that span. In fact, they were the only team ever in the threes.

Naturally, pushing the ball downfield will boost that number.
