As the start of organized team activities draws near for the Pittsburgh Steelers, there is still no movement on the Aaron Rogers front. Until that happens, the quarterback position remains a massive need for the black and gold. But there is one underrated position that GM Omer Khan and assistant GM Andy Weidel should address.

It happens to be on special teams, too.

The Steelers need to add another punter to the 91-man off-season roster.

Yes, Pittsburgh signed Cameron Johnston ahead of free agency,

reuniting with the veteran punter.

But he battled injuries the last two years and has bounced around.

With new special teams coordinator Danny Crossman overseeing things, the Steelers should add

another leg to compete with Johnston.

Pittsburgh hosted three punters for tryouts during rookie minicamp, which included former

second team all pro Ryan Stonehouse.

He profiles as a nice fit for Crossman and the Steelers, considering he spent time with the Dolphins in training camp last

year. He still averages more than 50 yards per punt too and appears healthy. So maybe that's a move

the Steelers make. Of course, they could also sign Penn State's Gabe Nwosu

or Arkansas's Devon Bale, two guys that they hosted at rookie minicamp. Regardless of what direction

they go in, the Steelers need to add another punter to at least compete with Johnston in training

camp. They have to do their due diligence at a position they've really struggled at in recent years.
