One of the early developments out of OTAs has been the growth and development of quarterback Will Howard. Almost every B reporter has praised how Howard has looked, and the more praise for

Howard, the harder I see it for the Steelers to keep Mason and Rudolph. But the Steelers spending

a third round picking Drew Aller, there's zero chance he gets released, and Rodgers is safe. That

leaves the third quarterback spot down to Howard and Rudolph.

The Steelers might and should have trepidation about not keeping an experience

backup behind Aaron Rogers.
