Rivalries make wins sweeter, and losses more painful. They rise and fall with single games, single players, single sentences. The 49ers have been the Seahawks primary rival since the dawn of the Pete Carroll era. A Rams team that diminished each Seattle victory, took no accountability, and now has gone nuclear with offseason additions appears to be the clear primary enemy and rival of this Seahawks fan base and team. Sean McVay sits atop the throne of this organization that expects everyone to fall to their feet and kiss their feet. He has fallen many times before. He can fall again. Plus, Quandre Diggs joins the show to share his thoughts on the Rams moves and how the Seahawks can counter.

We talked about why it could happen, but now that it actually has happened, we react to the Myles Garrett trade to the Rams and all the implications to the Seahawks. Los Angeles paid a steep price. That wasn't the only news that impacted the Seahawks as their first opponent of the season also made a dramatic trade, and Odell Beckham rejoined the Giants.

It finally happened. Another NFL team raided the Seahawks front office to grab John Schneider's second-in-command, Assistant GM, Nolan Teasley. I will share what I know of Teasley, who might be his replacement, and what all the complex draft compensation rules mean for Seattle. Many people have questions about how independent media members make a living covering the NFL without any platform or large corporation standing behind them. In this special short series, Brian Nemhauser of Hawk Blogger, will speak to some of the people succeeding in this space in the hopes of helping others better understand the business side of this world. The first subject will be Bootleg Football, built by Brett Kollman and EJ Synder, who join as guests to share more about their journey and what goes on behind the scenes.

We have some fun revisiting the reactions to day one of OTAs from last year when there was some question about Sam Darnold as the starter that Mike Macdonald swatted down, and then we preview how different things are with the first day of 2026 OTAs starting today. We continue our Battle of the Best series, pitting the 2025 Dark Side defense against some new combatants.

We celebrate Memorial Day by looking back in history to compare the 2025 Seahawks Dark Side defense to one of the best to ever step on the field: the 1979 Steel Curtain Steelers. This is the first of a series of comparisons we will do. The show starts by revisiting some of the Sam Darnold conversations, and then reacting to some of the other Seahawks news.

The Rams extended Matthew Stafford for another season. The 49ers have extended Trent Williams. How do each of the NFC West rosters look beyond the 2026 season? We check in on why some teams might be hyper-aggressive this year.

I honestly did not see it coming. I should have, but I didn't. Sam Darnold apparently did not do much to change the perspective of who he is as a quarterback after notching another 14-win season and raising the Lombardi Trophy. Mina Kimes and Ben Solak ranked him as the 19th QB in their draft of NFL QBs. Let's discuss.

There may be no unit in the NFL that was as good as the Seahawks offense was in 2025 that gets as little love. They were doubted last year and were one of the most productive units in the NFL. They lost Ken Walker, but gained quite a bit. We discuss why this 2026 unit could be ready for a leap.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a season worthy of winning Offensive Player of the Year (and maybe DPOY as well?). We take a look at what history tells us happens when receivers break out the way he did. Is it fair to expect more of the same?

The Seahawks are trying to make it to another Super Bowl. Their head coach may not like that kind of talk, but it's the reality. We take a look at teams that have sustained excellence long enough to make two (or more) straight appearances in the Super Bowl, and try to see what lessons we might learn.
