This week, we go back to 2010 and interview with Joe Jordan of CE4 Research Group about the truth behind “alien” abductions. First released February 7, 2010 THE WORLD is more like The X-Files than most people would like to believe. Of course, coming from Hollywood, The X-Files didn’t present the whole story behind UFOs and alien abductions. Joe Jordan is the President and co-founder of CE4 Research Group, an alien abduction investigation and research team based out of Cocoa, Florida. Joe has been a Mutual UFO Network Field Investigator since 1992. He’s been a guest speaker at six Roswell UFO Festivals in Roswell, New Mexico, including the 60th Anniversary Conference in 2007, and he hosted the official Roswell UFO Festival Conference in 2008. Joe is the co-author with David Ruffino of the book Unholy Communion: The Alien Abduction Phenomenon, Where It Originates and How It Stops. Originally released September 20, 2009 A SECRETIVE religious group that wields power in Washington, D.C. and other world capitals — sounds like the basis for Dan Brown’s next novel, but it’s real. Jeff Sharlet, author of The Family: The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power, has been following this group for years, even living at The Family’s headquarters for a time. What he found is a group that justifies its pursuit of political power by claiming that it’s for the kingdom of God. The church needs to figure out what to do about Israel. Since the second century, a wedge has been driven between Christians and Jews. Sadly, Christians have often been guilty of pouring gasoline on this long–smoldering fire. It happened again after the massacre committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Imagine volunteering at an event approved by the government, and a year later you're arrested, charged with sedition, convicted, and sentenced to 18 years in prison. That's what happened to Stewart Rhodes (OathKeepers.info), the founder of Oath Keepers. His sentence was commuted after three years by President Trump last January, but the conviction remains on his record. This means that as a disabled veteran, he is denied the disability benefits he should be receiving comma, nor will he be allowed to be buried in a veterans cemetery when he is called home. In addition, he is not allowed to vote in his home state of Texas, a better pill to swallow for a man who describes himself as a Ron Paul constitutionalist. Stewart describes the treatment he received at the hands of the Department of justice for his presence at government approved demonstrations in Washington DC on January 6, 2021. And, as you probably know, Stewart was not the only one tracked down, arrested, charged, and imprisoned for the audacity of protesting against the deep state. He tells us how he survived more than a year in solitary confinement, how he plans to rebuild Oath Keepers, and his mission to train other veterans to organize and strengthen their local communities. A SECOND CENTURY PLOT by rabbis to desupernaturalize the Hebrew scriptures has given us the English Old Testament we have today. Why did the rabbis do it? How do we know what’s been changed? Does this mean we can’t trust the Bible? It’s an important and touch subject. To discuss it is our panel, Doug Van Dorn (DouglasVanDorn.com), author of this month’s topic, the forthcoming book Battle for the Bible’s Truth: Genesis, Jesus, and the Second Century Plot to Deny the Messiah; Brian Godawa (Godawa.com), best-selling author of the theological thriller Cruel Logic, and two new novels based on the period of the Maccabees in Judea; and Dr. Judd Burton (BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant. In a nutshell, influential rabbis in the second century tried to keep Jews from finding evidence in their scriptures for the Christian Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth. This followed the Bar Kokhba Revolt (132–135 AD) in which Christians, who had previously been part of the Jewish community, refused to fight for Simon Bar Kokhba, who Rabbi Akiba had declared was the Messiah. Roman punishment for Jewish rebels was harsh. Judaea was depopulated, with Jews being sold into slavery en masse, and the province was renamed Palestine. It was the only time Rome tried to erase a population from history. The hard feelings between Jews and Christians led to a final split between the faiths with rabbis trying to eliminate evidence for a “second power in heaven”—Yahweh in the flesh, namely Jesus—and Christians blaming Jews for the unrest and rebellion that stirred up so much trouble for the Roman Empire. That animosity continues to this day. We discuss the implications of the rabbis’ plot, how it affected our modern Old Testament translations, and where we can go to find what’s been changed—beginning with Genesis 6:1–4, the infamous verses about the creation of the Nephilim. And no, this does not mean we can no longer trust our Bibles. What was changed is subtle, and the prophecies of the coming Messiah, and his return, are still there. Follow us! The Book of Jubilees is basically a retelling of Genesis and Exodus with a focus on the law. Our Iron and Myth crew assembles to discuss a book written around the same time as the Book of 1 Enoch but with a different perspective on the ultimate solution to the problem of evil. IT’S DIFFICULT enough explaining why we Christians believe in Jesus, but doing so with our Jewish brothers and sisters requires tact and patience made necessary by almost 1,900 years of mutual animosity. We’re joined this week by Dr. Igal German, founding director of the Institute of Biblical Apologetics (BibleApologist.org) and Yesod Bible Center (YesodBibleCenter.com). We discuss Dr. German's journey from rabbinic Judaism to faith in Jesus as the Messiah, his work in apologetics, and the current state of Christian responses to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  Dr. German emphasizes the importance of understanding apologetics as a defense of faith, the need for a strong Christian voice in support of Israel, and the mission to reach the Jewish community with the gospel. There is a complex historical and theological relationship between Judaism and Christianity, and we explore the implications of supersessionism, the interpretation of Messianic prophecies, and the role of education in bridging the divide between Christians and Jews—especially the importance of understanding the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and the need for compassion and sensitivity in evangelism. THE TRAGIC midair collision of an American Eagle passenger jet with a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter in Washington, D. C. this week was politicized and conspiracy theorized within hours. Neither response is appropriate.   Our government and the media has created such a sense of distrust that many of us don’t believe anything we see, hear, or read anymore. That’s by design. Believing nothing will steer you wrong just as surely as believing everything. In the case of AA Flight 5342, it appears the simple explanation--human error--is correct. THE AI genie is out of the bottle. The big question now is whether Skynet will be Chinese or American. We discuss the announcement this week of a half-trillion dollar joint venture between OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank called Stargate to build an artificial intelligence infrastructure to make the United States the world’s leader in AI technology. The venture’s name evokes images of “ancient aliens,” thanks to the movie Stargate and its long-running TV spinoff, and the remote viewing experiments run by the Defense Intelligence Agency in the late ’70s. We don’t know whether President Trump is aware of these connections, but someone on his team surely is. However, China preempted the White House announcement by releasing DeepSeek R1, an AI platform that performs as well as, if not better than, OpenAI’s latest release and is offered to users at 3% of OpenAI’s price. In addition. DeepSeek is open source, meaning users can download it and run it themselves for the cost of the electricity. In short, the AI demon has been summoned, to quote Elon Musk. Just remember, this is being allowed by the Lord for His reasons, and we Christians need to understand time is growing short. We critique the documentary’s potential biases and the role of propaganda in shaping narratives. The discussion also touches on the connections between ancient myths, geometric patterns, and the use of hallucinogenic substances in historical contexts, ultimately emphasizing the importance of understanding different worldviews in interpreting archaeological findings. We appreciate Hancock for asking the right questions. However, he’s got a great big blind spot right in front of the answers. Also: New Age guru Billy Carson gets schooled by Christian apologist Wes Huff and then self-destructs with a major unforced error.
