Summary

It’s Wayback Wednesday with another episode drawn from our archive of programs going back to 2009. This week, we feature occult researcher William H. Kennedy, who passed away in 2013 at the age of only 49.

Originally released September 27, 2009

A WEEK doesn’t go by without a new lurid crime playing around the clock on the 24-hour cable news channels. So many of them involve children, like the Phillip Garrido alleged kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard, or Melissa Huckaby, who allegedly raped and killed 8-year-old Sandra Cantu.

William H. Kennedy has been researching occult and satanic crime since his days as at San Francisco State University, and he joined us to try to help us make sense of an insane world.

And sadly, there are far too many of those stories in the news. Our guest tonight is the author of Lucifer's Lodge, satanic ritual abuse in the Catholic Church, also satanic crime, a threat in the new millennium, and a number of e-books available at his website. He's also the host of Sphinx Radio and has had a number of fascinating guests over the couple of years.

Maybe we'll talk about that a little bit, too.

Bill, good to talk with you again.

0:44.8

Very good to be here, Derek.

It's very appropriate that this show has the title that it does because the last time we talked

that I've become more and more of a survivalist,

0:56.4

more than anything else, with the way the people at the top of our economic and political

pyramid treat the rest of us.

1:03.2

These very few people have gone into survival mode, so I'm happy to be in a bunker.

1:08.3

Well, we say that tongue-in-cheek.

1:10.4

We kind of joke about it because we know that ultimately he that is in us is greater

1:14.7

than he that is in the world.

1:16.1

So we certainly don't want to give anyone the impression that we're stockpiling anything

1:20.5

more substantial than, say, beans and rice and toilet paper.

1:26.0

Because we're convinced when the economy really crashes.

1:29.1

Yeah, it's going to be toilet paper becomes the medium of exchange.

1:31.7

Forget about gold.
