Summary

The church needs to figure out what to do about Israel.

Since the second century, a wedge has been driven between Christians and Jews. Sadly, Christians have often been guilty of pouring gasoline on this long–smoldering fire. It happened again after the massacre committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

Our guest, Ran Silberman, is a messianic Jew and a professional tour guide in Israel. He can speak to the subject of Jew hatred in the church from a unique perspective—not only is he a Christian living in Israel, but he is also a Jew. He explains that the church has a long, shameful history of demonizing Jews, one that must be confronted in this hour.

1:04.0	end-time promises, and this is, in my view, not supported by Scripture, and this is something

1:10.9	quite a lot lately. In fact, my next book deals with this problem. My next two books deal
1:16.5	with this problem. Joining us now is a gentleman. We came to know three years ago during our
1:22.9	tour of Israel. We'll talk a little bit about that as we begin the conversation here. He is a tour guide,
1:29.6	which in Israel means you have to be expert in a number of fields, including botany, geology, geography,
1:36.5	history, archaeology. And he is that. He is a contributor to all Israel News, which is the
1:42.3	news media company founded by best-selling
1:44.2	author Joel Rosenberg, for whom he produces reports on biblical archaeology.
1:50.9	And he was very gracious to give Sharon and me a shout-out on his report on the baptismal
1:55.6	site of Jesus.
1:57.1	He'll be in the United States during the month of June, and he's looking for opportunities
2:00.7	to speak to churches about the problem of anti-Semitism and especially anti-Semitism in the church.
