The Bible says we are God’s people and the sheep of His pasture, and the enemy is like a lion prowling the earth seeking whom he may devour. But there is another Lion who holds all power: Jesus Christ. Without Him, we are inadequate to face the threat of the enemy. We all lead our lives under authority, but we must be conscious of which authority we’re choosing. We serve God best when we have more confidence in Him than the things that frighten us.
