#690: Lions & Lambs — Power, Politics, and the Church

The Bible says we are God’s people and the sheep of His pasture, and the enemy is like a lion prowling the earth seeking whom he may devour. But there is another Lion who holds all power: Jesus Christ. Without Him, we are inadequate to face the threat of the enemy. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson invites us toward a new position in our faith—to believe that obedience and service to God will empower us to stand firm, not only for the transformation of our hearts but the transformation of nations. Politicians and earthly powers cannot resolve our problems. If the Church stays silent amid evil, we abandon our world to destructive influences and chaos. We need to stand with the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

#689: Lions & Lambs

Many false versions of the gospel are flourishing in the Church right now—what are they, and how can we recognize them? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the symptoms of widespread deception, distortion, and manipulation happening under the umbrella of “faith” today. He warns us to live with an awareness of messages that pervert the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to fit a popular worldview, agenda, or cultural fad. We learn from Peter and Paul that this is not a new problem; it’s an age-old issue. To remain grounded in the Truth, we need to stay close to our Shepherd, the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

#688: From Rejection to Freedom — Receive and Believe

It’s easy to hold onto bitterness and resentment when we feel rejected, so why does God ask us to forgive? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses five steps we can take to heal from rejection: Recognize when we experience rejection, accept Jesus as the example, let go of our bitterness, receive and believe God’s provision, and accept ourselves. Pastor Allen speaks about how emotions and spiritual forces try to influence us, but following God’s design for relationships brings spiritual freedom. We don’t have to be defined by our pain—God values us, and He has already made provision to accept us into His family.

#687: From Rejection to Acceptance—Jesus' Perfect Provision

Rejection and disappointment will wound us all, so how can we overcome the pain they bring? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the remedy for rejection found in Jesus. He shares the story of Joseph and his family, and how hurtful situations can affect people differently. Pastor Allen also shows how, no matter what circumstance we face, Jesus has provided the acceptance we seek. He teaches about the Divine Exchange, where Jesus traded his perfect holiness for our sins and hurts. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, we have been promised joy, honor, and glory in the midst of shame and rejection—and we can live in the freedom that provides.

#686: Rejection to Acceptance

We can't eliminate rejection from our lives, but it doesn’t have the power to keep us from God's best. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses rejection, its causes, and God’s acceptance. Leaders like David, Moses, and our Lord Jesus all faced immense rejection in their lifetimes, and Pastor Allen speaks about how God helped each of them overcome. He also shares a few common causes of rejection: broken families, betrayal, and shame. While each of us will be touched by rejection in our lives, we don’t have to live in its bondage. We can find freedom through our acceptance into God’s Kingdom and His family.

#685: Lessons From David

We often think following God should be easy, but He frequently calls us to places, positions, and expressions of faith that can lead to conflict. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses this fact by offering five lessons we can learn from the life of King David. Many times, following God’s direction can lead to division or spiritual conflict, but when we are diligent to keep following God’s plans for our lives, He will always provide what we need. Every season comes with struggles, and as we continually learn about God and His Kingdom, we become better equipped to overcome hardships and rejection. Cooperating with God for His purposes is the greatest opportunity we’ve been given, so let’s listen and obey Him—even when it leads to adversity.

#684: God’s Plan, God’s Promises & God’s People—A Heart for God

It’s not often talked about in our culture today, but we can experience both God’s intervention in our lives and the consequences of our sin. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the anointing of King Saul over Israel in the book of 1 Samuel. He shares how the Israelites chose complaints over godliness, and how Samuel was obedient to the Lord even through rejection. The history of Israel teaches us many lessons, and in this chapter, we get to reflect on the condition of our hearts—so let’s practice repentance and strive to honor God daily.

In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the choice each generation has to align with God and learn to listen. Pastor Allen teaches from the book of 1 Samuel, where he shares lessons in topics like parenting, thankfulness, listening, and rejection. He gives us five steps we can begin to implement today to grow our listening skills, and we learn from the people of Israel the importance of joy over complaining. We each have a choice to make. #681: God's Plan, God's Promises & God's People — You've Gotta Serve Somebody

Are we aware that we’re serving someone every day—God, ourselves, or the kingdom of darkness? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses serving the Lord. Jesus calls us to be servant leaders for Him, and He demonstrates what that looks like in the Gospels. Pastor Allen teaches five characteristics of servants: surrendering our wills, practicing contentment, being entrusted with authority, understanding the limits of authority, and knowing who we are serving. We’ve been offered the highest invitation of our lives. Are we willing to serve the King?

Everything we have is a blessing from God, and how we handle our resources has a spiritual impact. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses how to be a good steward of our resources, gifts, and talents. He shares some of the Bible’s promises surrounding money, and he corrects three common misconceptions about wealth and Christianity—that it’s unspiritual to be rich, everyone should share equally, and prosperity is an indicator of holiness. God gives each of us gifts and abilities, and we have the opportunity to use them to advance His Kingdom!

Israel, The Church & The Nations

We’re not just watching history—we’re living in the middle of God’s unfolding purposes. In this message, Pastor Allen Jackson calls us to wake up, speak up, and stand with bold faith. As he refers to Scripture from throughout the Bible, Pastor Allen teaches if you reject the Truth and you follow evil, you will face a God of wrath and anger. That’s not a threat; it’s awareness (Romans 2:8). As the nations rage and Israel takes center stage, we must understand our role as God’s people in this unique moment. It’s time to embrace responsibility, reject passivity, and align with God’s eternal promises. He’s moving—let’s not miss it.

#670: Supporting Israel—How Far Is Too Far?

Understanding the conflict between Israel and Iran requires us to look at it from a biblical perspective—not a geopolitical one. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the current struggle between Israel and Iran, and what the Bible has to say about it. He offers insight on the history of the Middle East and the nation of Israel, illuminating the pattern of antisemitism we’ve watched for millennia. He also shares how we can respond to God shaking the earth. God will keep His covenant with His chosen people, and as Christ-followers, we need a deeper level of understanding of the significance of Israel and the Jewish people. #665: Who’s the Boss? Life Under Authority

We all lead our lives under authority, but we must be conscious of which authority we’re choosing. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses how our lives should look under authority of the King, drawing from biblical examples including Jonah, Moses, and Abraham. We all need the humility to say, “I am under the authority of the King. I have raised my hand, and I'm going to run my race, complete my course, and I will not stop. In the name of Jesus, I will finish triumphantly!” Living a life fully under God’s authority will bring freedom, but it also requires obedience to Him and a heart change.    To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world, visit this link: allenjackson.com/podcastdonate

#664: Who's the Boss? You Are Serving Someone

Christ-followers need clarity about who we serve and who our boss is—because if we’re honest, many of us act as our own boss. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses spiritual authority and how where we place our allegiance and trust impacts every part of our lives. It influences our future more than nationality, education, or genetics. We must decide who our boss is and understand that refusing to yield to God’s authority is choosing rebellion. The God we worship asks us to love Him with undivided hearts. When we submit to Him as the true authority and make Jesus Lord over our lives, hope and healing come.   To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world, visit this link: allenjackson.com/podcastdonate

#663: Who’s the Boss? Expressions of Spiritual Authority

The greatest authority and power available to any person is a relationship with Almighty God. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson reminds us that true authority comes from God, and He requires us to submit to His will. Using Jesus as the ultimate model, Pastor Allen highlights Christ’s obedience and humility—even unto death—as the foundation of His divine authority. We live in a culture that resists authority, and rejecting God’s authority will continue to invite judgment and diminish the Church’s influence in the world. But when Christ-followers choose to recognize God as the ultimate Boss and decide to follow Him, lives are changed—including our own!    To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world, visit this link: allenjackson.com/podcastdonate

#652: Jesus Changes Everything

We serve God best when we have more confidence in Him than the things that frighten us. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the despair and hopelessness Jesus’ friends experienced on Easter, how they overcame that discouragement—and how we can, too. Apostles Thomas and Peter both stumbled in their faith after years of walking with Jesus, but He didn’t let them sit in their shame. Pastor Allen shows how Jesus took His friends’ burdens and replaced them with hope and courage, and he invites us to the same relationship with our Savior. The Church in the earth needs to be reawakened to the holiness of God, and that begins with us deciding to honor Him with our lives.    To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world, visit this link: allenjackson.com/podcastdonate

#651: Opportunities Lost

Just like all those involved in the Easter story, we’ve been given the opportunity to participate with Jesus in His Kingdom. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses four characters involved with Jesus’ trial and crucifixion who missed the invitation to a better future: the high priest Caiaphas, Pontius Pilate, Judas Iscariot, and the Roman soldiers. They all believed something else, like money, power, or status, was more important than God’s invitation. We have the same choice to make. Will we be deceived by the world, or will we have the courage to answer Jesus’ call on our lives?   To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world, visit this link: allenjackson.com/podcastdonate

#650: The Challenge of Belief

Even though Jesus told his followers exactly what was going to happen, they were still shocked to find His tomb empty on Easter morning. What are we misinterpreting about events in the earth today? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the disciples’ misunderstanding at Jesus’ empty grave, the confusion present in the Church today, and three truths we can rely on when things get disorienting. He shares these foundational ideas: Jesus is unique, the grace and mercy of the gospel lead us to repentance, and we have been forgiven. Our culture is becoming increasingly deceptive, but God is moving like never before—and we can trust in Him!   To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world, visit this link: allenjackson.com/podcastdonate
