Just like all those involved in the Easter story, we’ve been given the opportunity to participate with Jesus in His Kingdom. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses four characters involved with Jesus’ trial and crucifixion who missed the invitation to a better future: the high priest Caiaphas, Pontius Pilate, Judas Iscariot, and the Roman soldiers. They all believed something else, like money, power, or status, was more important than God’s invitation. We have the same choice to make. Will we be deceived by the world, or will we have the courage to answer Jesus’ call on our lives?
