If somebody pitched you an invitation into the kingdom of God that was about the recitation

of a prayer and a dip in a pool and all the hard questions were over, it's a false gospel.

God is not bound by the limits that you and I know.

And see, the reality of that is it creates confusion in us when we see him at work.

Well, I've seen him heal other people.

Why didn't heal this person in the way I wanted him to?

We want to reduce God to some formula that we manipulate and we control.

And here's the punchline.

God is capable of overcoming our failed attempts to be good followers.
