And in the contemporary church, we would much rather point to our spiritual resume and say,

I've done all of my significant business. And I'm grateful for all the accomplishment, all the road travel.

Paul did not reject the training he had in Scripture as a student of Scripture.

He identifies as the Pharisee all of his entire journey through.

But he said along with that,

I have come to understand that Jesus of Nazareth

is not only alive, but he's the Messiah.

And that dramatically altered the preparation

he'd had up until that event.

And God is altering the journeys of his people

in the earth to give us a different kind

of a future.
