Summary

Join the Catalyst Mastermind !    If you’ve ever been told you’re too much—too sensitive, too intense, too ambitious—this message is for you. Maybe you’ve left a room feeling like you should’ve shrunk yourself to fit in and played it safe.    Smiled and nodded instead of speaking up. And somewhere along the way, you started to wonder if the problem was you. But hear me loud and clear: You are not the problem. You’re not too much. You’re just in the wrong rooms.   Let’s talk about the right ones—the rooms where your energy isn’t drained, it’s doubled, where your “unrealistic” dreams spark something in others. Where your passion is seen as purpose, and your depth doesn’t make people uncomfortable—it makes them come alive. Because the right people? They don’t ask you to tone it down. They look at you and say, “More of that, please.”   So if you’ve ever second-guessed your voice, your ideas, or the way God wired you, lean in. This conversation might be the permission slip you’ve been waiting for. Because the right room doesn’t just accept your fullness—it celebrates it. And, it’s time you walked boldly into that space.   Listen in to learn more:   (02:42) - The Real Reason You Feel Like Too Much (06:03) - The Three Kinds of Wrong Rooms That Drain Your Confidence and Dim Your Light (07:28) - You Were Designed With Purpose (08:44) - What the Right Rooms Look Like (10:52) - Your Blueprint for Finding and Creating the Right Rooms   WATCH ALLI  ON YOUTUBE   Links to great things we discussed:    Alli’s TV Recommendation - Only Murders in the Building I hope you loved this episode! 🎉Don’t forget to hit that subscribe button on Apple Podcasts and Spotify so you never miss a thing. You're not too much. You're just in the wrong rooms. If you've ever been told to calm down or that you're too sensitive or you're a lot or you dream bigger than you should or maybe you should tone it down a bit or you should be more realistic or if you have ever walked away from a conversation thinking, why did I share so much? I should have kept that

0:21.6

idea to myself, or maybe I'm too intense, or maybe I'm too much, or maybe I dream too big.

0:27.2

And who am I to have these dreams? Who am I to think I can do X, Y, or C? Right? Any of those

0:33.9

sound familiar? I've got something to tell you that just might set you free today.

You are not too much. You're just in the wrong rooms. And today we're going to talk about

0:50.1

how to find the rooms where your energy isn't exhausting. It's exactly what's needed. Where your

0:56.0

dreams are unrealistic, they're inspiring. Where your depth isn't heavy, it's refreshing.

1:02.0

Because here's what I've learned. The right room doesn't just tolerate your fullness,

1:06.8

it celebrates it. It sharpens it and it gives it space to flourish. But before we dive in, I want to remind you.

1:15.0

Okay, let's get started. For years, and I mean years long ago, I always thought I had to tone myself down.

1:22.7

I became a master at reading rooms. I could walk into any space and within 30 seconds, I knew exactly

1:29.1

how much of myself was acceptable. I learned to smile and nod at just the right moments.

1:35.5

I learned to laugh at jokes that weren't even funny and keep my big dreams locked away in

1:40.7

conversations unless I wanted to watch people's eyes glaze over. Sound familiar?

1:46.0

I remember one particular meeting where I shared a vision I had for a project. The room went

1:51.4

quiet. Not the good kind of quiet. The uncomfortable kind. Someone finally said, well, that's ambitious.

2:00.4

Another person chimed in with maybe we should start smaller. And I remember

2:04.6

leaving that room feeling like I needed to recover from just being myself. Maybe you've been in a

2:10.3

situation like that. I've been the woman who walked into coffee dates and left feeling drained

2:15.9

because I had to perform easygoing Alley

2:18.6

instead of just being me. I've been the woman who would rehearse conversations in my head,

2:23.5

editing out anything that felt too much or too passionate or too visionary or too direct.
