Summary

Welcome to Day 5! You're guided in a meditation to accept yourself exactly as you are. There's so much relief in doing this. You're also invited to do the prana mudra to help integrate the parts of yourself you may have been neglecting or rejecting.

This is part 4 of a 7-Part Meditation Series Positive Body Image, Episodes 2896-2902.

YOUR WEEKLY CHALLENGE:

Spend some time each day visualizing vitality surrounding areas of your body that you wish you could change.

You are guided with a different meditation technique every day that is customized for the week's theme. Weave the techniques into the most stressful times of your day to manage difficult emotions. The meditation techniques help to calm the "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.

For free meditation tools to help you start meditating please head over to my website at www.SipandOm.com, and there you'll find a multitude of free resources to help you on your Meditation Journey.

I invite you to think about something for a moment. Is it wrong to be experiencing what you may

1:33.6

perceive as lack and society often conditions us to feel is though we're not supposed to feel

1:43.5

pain but there are other societies especially the more primitive societies where pain is an

1:55.6

important process in life. In fact pain is often perceived as a gift and that's a very common

2:04.6

premise in yoga and meditation so the ancient yogis felt as though there was a reason for our

2:14.9

experiences for what caused us pain, what causes us joy, what angers us, what frightens us,

2:24.6

all these big emotions and they determine that they settled in certain locations in your body

2:33.1

and I think we intuitively know this for example if you say my heart is aching over the loss of someone

2:44.4

you love or you're frightened so you feel as though your stomach clenches or you're carrying the

2:52.0

weight of the world on your shoulders so we feel certain emotions in certain areas of our body

well the ancient yogis came up with a term for this they call it the chakras so today I'm going

3:08.2

to guide you through a meditation where you have the option if you so desire to create a little more

3:19.8

dynamic meditation today if you do focus with me on your second chakra this is located
