Hello, welcome to another episode of Pop Bear Hikes.

If you've been listening,

you'll know that I just recently completed an interview with my friend Danielle,

where we talked about Wim Hof, Wim Hof Workshops and Wim Hof Expeditions,

and what that means in terms of cold weather outdoor experiences.

And it was very enlightening to me. I learned a lot about it.

With that said, I am somebody who is over the years really embraced the idea of

going out and hiking during the cold weather season. I've had to change the way I

phrase that, by the way, I've been reminded that the winter is not necessarily a

cold weather season everywhere. I live in New York State and it gets darn cold up

here, but I just want to share this. I went out and did a sub-zero hike.

Yes, that is very, very likely the coldest temperatures I've ever hiked in.

The gang and I went out, we did a peak over in the Catskills.

I think it might have been zero or possibly one above or one below when we

got out of the car. I'm sure with the windshield factor at times,

it was below zero. And you know what? Didn't feel it.
