Hello, welcome to another episode of Pop Bear Hikes.

Well, as promised, we have our class of 2022 Appalachian Trail through hikers that we're going to be

following and rooting for here on Pop Bear Hikes. They've been kind enough to give up some time

tonight to join us and share with us their stories, but it's motivated them to hike the trail and

some of the steps they've taken to prepare themselves and motivate us to root these guys on.

I've talked about this in episodes. You know, we'd love the route for these guys.

We want to see them finish, and I want this year to be able to provide an experience for the

listeners to follow these hikers from, well, in the case of these three. I believe you guys are all

nobos to go from Springer to Katatam. I would like to welcome Justin, Jake, and Stan.

They're all going to have an opportunity to let them introduce themselves individually.

So we'll start with Jake. Jake, tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hi, I'm Jake. Those of you guys who met me last year on trail, I'm also known as SideTrack.

I made an attempt last year, 2021. It didn't go my way. I got off at Cleanman's Dome,

and I'm back to give it another shot. I've got cerebral palsy, so that's, you know,

presenting some interesting issues, but hopefully you guys are good to hear a little bit more

about how I deal with that. And, you know, hopefully it's a success. Justin?
