to share today's meditation with you because this is day seven a series on

resilience. This is a week that culminates in you thinking about those big dreams and goals you have, the

resolutions you set and as we enter the third week of the brand new year as I record this this is the point where most

people give up on their goals and I want to share your insight with you in the beginning as I always do before you're guided in a meditation.

Well your insight for today has to do with you perhaps not wanting to pursue your goals and resolutions

Maybe you do want to give up. Maybe you find that you just have so much going on right now.

Despite your initial enthusiasm for this goal, you've decided not to pursue it just yet. You may likely still want to pursue this

goal at a later time, but it's just not working out for you right now.

So this happens. This often happens and what you can do instead of feeling stuck like here I am not pursuing my goals again

You can still keep this goal

foremost as something you want to pursue. You can have it as part of your

bucket list of goals and this way it's still a part of your life and you'll know

when the time is right for you.

And I see this happen all the time with people, including with myself and I'm sure you do too,

where someone has always wanted to do something and they even talk about it and

mention it a lot and they attend events having to do with this thing but they

don't actually pursue it and sometimes it can feel frustrating because you know how much this person wants this.

But it's not a good time for the person to pursue it.

And I remember interviewing a fellow meditator who was a teacher. And she still is a teacher, but her true passion is art.

So she continued to paint, she continued to study art on her own

while still teaching full timetime because teaching is what employed her
