Summary

Today on the podcast is Mica Wood!

Mica was one of the greatest runners in Utah State history. She set two school records, ran 16:00 in the 5k, & 32:57 in the 10k. Not only was Mica excelling individually, but she also was a massive leader on her team. She led her team to a runner-up finish at the Mountain West XC Championships and to their second-ever NCAA nationals appearance.

Mica decided after graduating that she wanted to continue to pursue her goals in the sport and see how far she could go. Despite working a full-time job, Mica makes time to run 75-mile weeks and chase after these goals under the guidance of her coach and husband, Adam Wood.

Mica also has a big presence on social media where she documents these pursuits!

In today's conversation, Mica goes into her story in sport, progressing throughout the years, how she trains with a full-time job, her future goals, being coached by her husband, TikTok, and so much more!
