The recap of Stage 1 of Catalonia, we will do the weekly show tomorrow.

Benji had a big ride today, so we'll make do with just a recap of this quite entertaining uphill sprint stage.

We go inland, do a couple of moderate climbs. It'll be familiar to the Gerona riders.

Then we come back down and then hit the coast road from Tosa delamar to Sanfiliu, which is beautiful,

twisting one of the twistiest roads up and down, a lot of punchy sort of 1K- 5% hills, then flowing descents, and then they descend

into San Felu, and then they have an uphill sprint, which is like 600 meters 4%, but there's

good 400 meters 5% in there. You don't want to start too early. What's the palmaris of this stage before Benji?

Michael Matthews, for certain, I think multiple times, maybe, or am I imagining that in

my head?

Now, next to that, we also had Matthew Brennan last year, one of the most epic victories

we saw last year, which was when Del Grosso got a gap in a rainy descent,

the last descent, and then Matthew Brennan and I think Groves behind them tried to close

down. Del Grosso and the final were able to do that epic stage. Always good to look back on, but

the Palmeras is pretty good on this one, but it's also a pretty recognizable stage in the first place. You mentioned a few days ago. There's only Manuel, one man that's going to win this stage, Dorian Godom. But before we go into the stage, Patrick, I want to take a look at the start list of the entire race because this race is stacked. Remcoeven-Nupol and Lipovitz, both here for Red Bullbora, Almeida for UAE team Emirates,

McNulty, Vine, Mark Soler, Vingago for Team Vizmalisa Mike with Paganzoli and Sepcus.

We've got Nordhagen there as well, track with both Skilmoza NG and Chikone.

So this is like, this is secondary Grand Tour level start list.

Very, very strong start list.

We're only missing Pagatja, Iuzo.

And sprinters.
