I got my roots done.

I am hoping this week that we can just have a

gay old chuckle. I'm going to be super honest with you. Never have I ever done a social media

cleanse. I'm putting down my finger. This weekend, I mean, I hate an announcement about like going

off social media. There is nothing more

broken than that, but I made the grandiose decision to delete the Instagram app for 72 hours

because I really did just need a cleanse. And I just want to say this. Okay, we're going to laugh here

Was that a loss for me this weekend? Yes. But it was so needed. I felt just this week, I don't know if it was the moon, the blood moon, the 999 portal, watching way too many Netflix documentaries that just really put me in a slippery slope. But I just feel like it's a very hard thing to navigate because like, you know, it's fashion week and like three and a half

minutes from now. I'm going to be slinging some sad link to a pair of Bataga sunglasses like

the biggest loser on the planet. But then with social media comes all of this discourse and

we've become so desensitized to it and everybody is fighting. And there's no movement and there's no traction and it's so counterproductive and everything is politicized and people are dying.

Schools are being shot up.

Children are being murdered.

And it's like at what point like do we, does it all just become like white noise to us? And I keep thinking about, I have like young relatives, nieces, nephews on Instagram and they're like eight. And I'm like, how are we like, like, how are they consuming all of this? Like, how are they carrying this? Like, thank fucking God.

Clyde is only two and has no concept of what's going on.

And then you don't want to be detached from reality.

You need to understand, like, the state of the world.

It's important.
