This week you are exploring the theme of healing through compassion.

In each episode you've explored a different meditation technique,

daily insight and a meditation that allows you to focus on one of the most powerful emotions,

which is compassion.

As you meditate today, you're going to be guided as you focus on this powerful emotion,

compassion, and I invite you at this moment to consider how your daily challenge is coming

along. You have been challenged this week to think about one person in particular and to send

them compassion all week long. And I wonder if you've had interaction with this person.

And you may be surprised. This person may even reach out to you. I know the person I'm thinking

about and sending compassion to has reached out to me, and it made me really happy. It made me

think that maybe this person realizes that I'm sending them compassion or could just feel my

compassion. So as you think about your special person this week, I invite you to think about

the kind of compassion you're sending them.

And think about how you feel at this moment. Name your emotion.

And rate how far you are emotionally from compassion.

So from your current emotional state to the state of compassion which you're striving for today,

how would you rate how far you are from getting there between a one and a ten ten being the

furthest away. And one being you feel pretty close to it. You feel quite a lot of compassion.

Now go ahead and sit up straight. Always keeping yourself nice and alert as you meditate.

Close your eyes. Gently elevate your eyes upwards.
