Yesterday's Supreme Court ruling has the potential to reshape presidential power for generations to come.

Justices ruled 63 that presidents have absolute immunity for official actions taken while in office.

But they ruled they have no immunity for unofficial ones.

That includes former President Donald Trump. He petitioned the court for broad immunity in his DC criminal case.

He's accused of working to overturn his 2020 election loss.

But now, much of that case will have to be reconsidered.

That process will almost certainly delay Trump's trial until after November's presidential election.
