debate performance against Donald Trump last week.

They've worked the phones to reassure nervous donors.

They've pleaded with concerned lawmakers, and they appeared on political TV shows to defend the president

I do not believe that Joe Biden has a problem leading for the next four years because he's done

a great job of leading for the last three and a half years. I always say that the best predictor of future behavior

is past performance. The Biden Camp's efforts appeared to have bought him some time, and Biden's family have urged him to stay in the race.

But a new poll from UGov shows signs of a drop-off in voter confidence in Biden.

And some prominent Democrats have continued to call for him to step aside.

They say that the party should pick a new candidate at its convention in Chicago next month. Number two, the Supreme Court will rule this morning on Donald Trump's claim of immunity.

In one of the criminal cases against him, Trump is accused of trying to stay in power by overturn

Biden's 2020 election victory. But Trump claims he's immune from prosecution because he was

president at the time. Legal experts expect the court will reject his broad claim of immunity,

but how they reject it will be very important.

Their decision could impact when Trump goes on trial in DC

on federal election obstruction charges,

or whether he does it all.
