Welcome back to the Lantern Rouge Cycling Podcast for the recap, the entirety of the Tour de France, men's race being recapped. As we normally do it, we're going to go through all the stage winners, the weeks. What do we like about the weeks? Discuss the parkour, some of the additions, Maumatra, I think the numbers for that say it all. We'll go through things like that, what our favourite or at least most memorable and least memorable stages were.

And then talk about the big topics.

And I think the big topic really was UAE and Pagatja against Vizma and how that maybe boiled up and then petered out during the race.

We'll talk about other GC riders, some breakout riders, which we had quite a lot of

in the top 10 on GC. I must say, a lot of new top 10 GC riders in this year's Tour de France.

The points classification discussed that, as well as some odds and ends from this Tour de France.

But just overall, I think I'll give my opinion on the whole Tour de France by the end of this,

but I can't wait to get into the recap because sometimes we record the full recap of a

Granteau the day after, which then sometimes you don't have enough time to like process every

part of it.

Now I feel like I've processed every aspect of it and I feel like deep diving into what could Vizma have done better? What could, what's with you A? Did they have weaknesses throughout the race? The breakout riders, like you mentioned, where do we see them going in one year, two year, three years? What are the possibilities of Remk Weavenpool in the future? hypothetically if he goes to Red Bull Borough Hansgroowa, with Lipovitz already porteming the Tour of France.

There's so many questions that I do want to dive into today and I can't wait to get started,
