| 1:31.2 | Lao Tzu is also considered to be the founder of philosophical Taoism |
| 1:37.2 | and a deity in religious Taoism and traditional Chinese religions. |
| 1:43.7 | He lived during the 6th century and he is considered to be an older peer or an older contemporary |
| 1:52.7 | of the great philosopher Confucius. |
| 1:56.7 | An interesting aspect of Lao Tzu's life is that he is considered to have worked with the court of the days. |
| 2:06.7 | So he had a pretty easy life. |
| 2:11.7 | And he left this easy court life because he couldn't stand the corruption he witnessed. |
