I don't think it's exceedingly likely, but I do want the Pittsburgh Steelers to take a swing at the top of the receiver market and free agency.

T. Higgins would be the best name available if he doesn't end up resigning for Cincinnati's

angles, and he would be a perfect fit in Pittsburgh, albeit a costly one. PFF projects Higgins to get a four-year

$112 million deal with $67.5 million guaranteed. The sealers would have to break organizational

president to bring in Higgins, and I just don't feel like it's all that likely, even though it would

be a good move. But the sealers should still take a swing at someone like Amari Cooper or DeAndre Hopkins.

Signing a talented receiver would eliminate the position as a need early in the 2025

NFL draft and the Steelers could look to address defense line or secondary early in the draft

or potentially running back, although I am favor in waiting on to running back until the later

rounds in such a deep draft class. Either way, I think a veteran receiver has a better chance

of being an immediate contributor for the Steelers.

There are team that's been cautious

to play the rookies early in the season at times,

and we saw with Roman Wilson,

the drafting receiver doesn't always pan out in his rookie season.
