Let's talk about the Crederel Patterson signing.

It wasn't a super splashy move, but it's a move that showed just

how serious the Steelers are about competing and winning this season. Every team

says they want to compete and put themselves in the best position possible to win.

But it doesn't always happen.

Teams opt to roll with internal options or not make a move that would more than likely improve

the team for a variety of reasons.

And in the past, the Steelers have been a team that would roll with their

existing structure instead of going out and making a movement for agency.

Or via trade.

That was in the case of Patterson, as the Steelers aimed him to a contract hours after the new hybrid kickoff rules implemented.

I'm not often on the same side as Mike Florio, but he was right when he said that this is the move that signal that the Steelers are truly

going all in this off season for 2024.

Patterson is one of the best tournaments has ever played the game and

he did Pittsburgh have a chance to throw out with a new kickoff role.

The move to bring in Russell Wilson to show the sailors running to compete.

Same with Patrick Queen, the largest reason signing in team history,

and the training for Justin Fields and signing Cameron Johnson to hold down the fort at

punter, finally giving the team a solid punter after three seasons of sub-part play by Presley
