Welcome to the terrible take a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kazora.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, their playoff fate will have to wait one more day, at least. By now now you know the news of New York State and the

NFL pushing back Sundays originally scheduled playoff game to Monday afternoon at

4.30. A move that came later than sooner, the powers that be wanting to take as long as possible to project out the forecast, but one that really had to occur before the Steelers boarded a plane for Buffalo.

The move, although it angers Steelers nation, is understandable.

Field conditions were not the issue, but general public safety was a travel ban in addition

to the risks of getting tens of thousands of fans to a football game in the middle of a blizzard.

I get it.

But the Steelers have lost an advantage here, at least a small one.

All week the hope and path and optimism was for this to be an ugly game

weather-wise, limit the bill's passing game, make this a run-oriented type of performance, which would skew in the Steelers favor. Not heavily, Buffalo

can run and the Monday forecast does not have any palm trees in it, to be clear. But there's no

question this is helping the bills from a football standpoint, even if that's not the intent of the move obviously.

Still, Pittsburgh's path remains the same. It can be 80 and sunny, and if you run early, often, and effectively, you can control and manage any game.

Keeping Josh Allen off the sidelines, creating turnovers, that equation, it has not changed.

If there's a team prepared for a moment like this it's Pittsburgh.
