October 23, 2023 - Season 14, Episode 40 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers big road win on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams to move to 4-2 on the season. We discuss how this was another rock throwing game and how the Steelers have somehow found a way to be 11-4 since their 2022 bye week and where a lot of that credit needs to go. The Steelers made a few Saturday roster moves that Alex and I recap early in this show. we also discuss the team's week Seven inactive list prior to the Sunday game. The Steelers offense looked a bit better on Sunday against the Rams so Alex and I start on that side of the football. We discuss the play of the unit and several individual players in this segment. A lot of Sunday stats are discussed, and we talk about how QB Kenny Pickett came up clutch yet again late in the contest. We talk running game on Sunday and scheme in this segment as well. We also discuss several big plays on that side of the football. Alex and I then move over to the defensive side of the football to talk about that unit’s play on Sunday against the Rams. We discuss the big play made early in the second half by OLB T.J. Watt and how S Minkah Fitzpatrick once again led the team in tackles. Several of the Steelers defensive rookies are highlighted in this segment along with multiple plays that the Rams made on offense. We briefly talk about special team play later in this show and make sure to review the penalties and key officiating things to come out of the Sunday game. That obviously includes the late quarterback sneak by Pickett on fourth down that ultimately closed out the game against the Rams.
