Hello there, my name is Kyle Wright. I'm from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and I follow all things leading LDS. And here's why. A while back I was called to be a new

Elderskorm president. It was my first real experience with church leadership.

Now I had had great Elderskorm presidents in the past but I didn't know what it was that made them great.

So what did I do when it was my turn?

Well, I kind of just defaulted to the basic things that you see the stereotypical

elders corn presidents do, you know, stand up, make the announcement about home teaching, maybe pass around a sign-up sheet here and there.

But what I found was I was showing up to quorum assignments, you know, often either by myself or with very little help around me.

And I thought, you know, there has to be a better way.

And there is a better way.

It's called leadership.

I was so fortunate to come across the leading LDS podcast.

Kurt has amassed such a great library of interviews with smart and talented people,

people with knowledge and experience, and so I've listened to many of those and I

finally know what leadership is and I feel like a more effective servant in the

Lord's Kingdom it's been a great thing. We've had better

quorum engagement, we had better quorum discussions, and I was better able to

communicate one-on-one with fellow quorum members. So things went a lot better once I
