And I'm Gabe, and I am so glad that you are with us today.

Rebecca and I are going to get to talk with just one of our favorite human beings in the world,

John Tyson. He's the pastor at Church of the City in New York, an author, a leader, somebody who literally

has a visual memory, photographic memory, can instantly recall everything he's ever read and is brilliant and so we're just

going to talk to him about the idea of resilience and resistance and so let's listen to

Well as we've talked about a lot before John you're the reason our family

ended up in New York City for four years of our life with our family and serving you know

and church planting and ministry together and we just love you and your family and I know I just

want to start with everybody listening now has seen New York City really change quite

dramatically in these last few months and I know that really doesn't break hearts as much as it breaks your heart because of how much you've invested and you love the city and this is where you're called to do so give us a little sense of just how are you looking at the city right now.
