by telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do? Sure. So I have been an in-house

attorney for most of my career going on 12 years now. I started out in litigation and I just didn't like it.

I prefer to solve problems than kind of keep perpetuating them. So I took to the transactional

side and I absolutely love working in-house and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts

is my jam. I love contracts. I think that my love for words started at an early age because

my parents are immigrants.

They moved here from Iraq in the 1980s and they didn't speak English.

So as I grew up, I was sort of teaching them English and they would ask me to reply to this letter from the bank or write our greeting card from the family.
