because right now there is a revision underway to the joint force operations in

space and according to the news from breaking defense it's a major overhaul

codifying space commands, understanding of action, offensive and defensive

space operations.

Henry, a very good evening to you why it's important is because we know that satellites are vulnerable and in the

event of conflict what is an offensive what is a defensive operation taking

satellites down or neutralizing them or blowing them up and also what is an

offensive operation without a state of war.

Do you have thoughts on Space Force's definitions?

Are these common sensical or is there some risk here?

I think it's a step forward because the forbidden thought that has never been publicly

articulated by public officials is that we may need to push other spacecraft away from ours to make sure that they don't do damage to them by trying to

de-fuel them, damage them with long arms that can plate mischief with

antenna and spray paint in various places that make optics not work and to move our satellites in positions where they won't be functional. The Chinese have demonstrated that they can do this. They did it with the GeoSAT of their own
