rethinking our relationship to social media.

I'm not advocating that we do anything other than bring our awareness to how we interact with all of it.

So let's get into it. A few months ago Sam Kaysanga and I went on a five day

silent retreat. At the beginning of the retreat they usually do an opening

ceremony which sometimes includes a moment for digital renunciation.

Anyone is invited to turn in their electronic devices for the course of the retreat and hopefully let go of their attachment to the digital world.

Of course I was keen to do this.

So myself and a few others stood in line to place our devices in a sacred box that would be locked up for the duration of the retreat.
