The National Federation of Independent Businesses. What is it telling us, Jean?

Well, the NFID puts out their monthly small business optimism index.

You and I have talked about this index before. They've been doing it for decades.

It's legit. They've got a good methodology.

Like you said, you know, they're interviewing thousands of businesses that are their members.

And small businesses generate half a GDP and half the employment in this country.

If they're optimistic, that's good for the economy.
