Today on the Girl the Fine show, we are talking about whether or not single Christian women should pray for their future husbands.

That is something that I did. I literally wrote an entire box of prayers and letters to my future husband

hoping, dreaming, praying that one day this man would come into existence

and I could gift him these letters.

And now as a woman who's been actually married for several years, I look back and I'm like,

what is that the best idea? Is that biblical? Like, is this a good thing for single

women to do? I mean, you think praying, like, of course it's always good to pray, but is it actually

good to pray for a man that may or may not exist. Let's jump in.

which is crazy so even back then when we start a girl to find I had only been

married for a couple years and I was fresh off of that like dating before that

praying for my future husband and so as time has gone on and we've

talked to a lot of single women and just re-evaluated our own hearts and our

singleness and this whole idea and this kind of cultural Christian push

for single women to pray for your future husbands.
