Today on the Girl Define Show, we are talking with the Lisa Childers, and I had some questions for her.

I saw R Rial the other day on Instagram of a man who is married to a man, basically saying,

like, life is so hard right now. It's such difficult times. Why are there still people who don't

support all families? Why are there people who can't just say like yes you are

happy we are so happy for you we support gay. We support a man being with a man. We support a woman being with a woman.

Like that is tough stuff and when someone comes online so compassionately and so kindly and you're like wait am I just a hateful

Christian why why why have I not got on board with this it can feel so confusing

and you wonder like wait who is God and and and and why isn't he for this? Like what is the Bible? What is my Christian faith?

It can kind of take you down this spiral and you don't really know what to do with these questions.

And so it's like, okay, do you just either deconstruct all the way and get rid of your faith or is there

something greater that we're living for does God have something good to say about this

does God actually care for all of his children does he want everyone to come to know him? Does he want that? Like,

it could be so confusing. So today we are grappling with those really hard questions.

We are going to talk with Elisa who has done the work to understand

this and she is going to guide us to truth and help us figure it out for ourselves.

Alyssa, thank you so much for joining us here on the Girl Define Show. I am so

pumped to have you. We've actually been wanting to have this conversation for a while, but between

my schedule and your schedule, we had to kind of go back and forth so here we are and I'm so

grateful for you for those that may not have heard of you or don't know you can you

just share who you are and what it is you do on a day-to-day basis.
