I am so grateful to be back with you once again,

and I so loved hearing from so many of you how the last episode just met you right where you are,

and it doesn't surprise me because that's who God is. Even just the timing in him telling me,

hey, it's time to pick this thing up and run with it again.

I love that he had you in mind as well.

And he knows every single person listening.

He knows your heart, your longings, your pain, your capacity to hold on to hope today.

Or maybe that you feel like you're hanging by a thread today.

He's with you.

He's always working and coming after your heart.

And I pray that today he meets you yet again with his unfailing love.

Well, if you follow me on socials, you know that we have been in deep celebration as a family since the last episode. Our first

born Noah proposed to his wonderful girlfriend, Kate, and we are completely over the moon about

it. I'm actually going to dedicate a good portion of this podcast and telling you some of the

beautiful details of that story. It's one that God has

just awe struck us with. But before I do that, I want to come back around and pick up a little more

where I left off in the last episode as I was sharing with you about having an open heart to God.

Even when you find yourself in a season of dryness or apathy,

for me it was an absence of tenderness of heart. It seemed that nothing moved me,

and I had to learn how to still approach God from a place of earnestness rather than relying on how I
