I'm John Batchel with Colonel Jeff McCausen. We look at Venezuela.

The good news is that Maduro is gone

to stand before justice. The less than good news is that there's information, it's just talk,

but there's information that the opposition led by Ms. Machado, the Nobel Peace Prize winner,

the opposition believes that Delci Rodriguez, the nominal president,

she's as corrupt and implicated in violence and drug trafficking and human trafficking as

Maduro. But the U.S. has decided to leave her in place in a transition to democracy.

Her brother, Jorge Rodriguez, head of the National Assembly, again deeply compromised,

a criminal like any other criminal. However, that they are slow walking to transition purposefully

in order to get to first the midterms in November of this year, believing in their way

that this will weaken the president's resolve and that

Congress will become troublesome because they fear the flotilla returning. If the flotilla returns,

the Rodriguez don't have a plan. The other possibility is to drag this out for the remainder of

Mr. Trump's terms. That's enough, Jeff.

They're worried.

Of course they're worried because they're not allowed to come back to their homes and they have no power.

And the Rodriguez is retained power.

Right now, there does not seem to be a kinetic solution to Venezuela.

How do you measure?

We have a couple of minutes. Well, I don't think there is a

measure of that using kinetic force, John. Now, the real issue is, can you convince the oil

company these United States to make massive investments to quite to quickly raise the level of
