As we go immediately to the wars of Eurasia, the Strait of Form moves. Within these hours, the President of the United States has announced that the U.S. Navy is ordered to blockade the Strait of Hormuz.

This following the weeks-long contest with Iran, where the presumption was Iran had shut the Strait of Hormuz, certainly to commercial traffic because of the cost of insurance and just

generally unarmed ships are not going to pass in front of a battery of missiles and drones.

However, there is the complication that this is very much a strategy that's not been tried before

to starve, to put Iran under siege for currency, for money at all.

And it is not clear that it will happen fast. In the meantime,

the U.S. has entered into negotiation at a very high level, the vice president, with Iran.

It did not last very long, something like 20 hours or 23 hours. There are said to be more coming,
