The state elections underway in Germany, as they are. This is a transparent democracy.

And the next big votes, I believe, are in what used to be called East Germany, where AFD is very

strong. And so I read a headline that surprises me in the financial times these last days. Germany's

far right, AFD, distances itself from Donald Trump over

Iran war. Alternative for Germany party members told the scale-back visits to U.S. as strikes on Iran

are deeply unpopular with the voters. Judy, these are young people. They're learning how to be

powerful in the Bundestag.

Does this make them successful in East Germany, or are people confused?

We have a few minutes.

They're not confused.

East Germany is generally pacifist.

Certainly they were anti-NATO and anti-American, but certainly anti-American in this case when it comes

to the war in Iran. Secondly, yes, the AFD was closing up to MAGA and the supporters. This has

been scaled back. What is the two big regional state elections in eastern Germany. So the

AFD, that's the far-right movement movement, who is number two of the polls,

racing after Chancellor Mercer's coalition, and they now have to temper some of the rhetoric

and realize which way the voters are going. It is expected that AFD will score very well in
