The absence of fuel shipments from either Mexico or Venezuela means that Cuba has two weeks, three weeks of oil left, and then darkness.

No electricity, no heat, no electronics whatsoever, and what is to be done. Is there a

negotiation? Cuba is now in a position of failure, not poverty, failure. More of this

denied. Here's Evan. Well, well publicly there's no negotiations that president

trump of course has been very a public in saying that you know cub will be failing pretty

soon previously there's been references to um you know ds canal you know better take a deal so

you know so those statements would indirectly suggest that there is something going on,

and it wouldn't be surprising that if there wasn't something going on. I mean, in my experience,

we've always maintained certain back channels to the Cubans. And, you know, certainly, you know,

this is probably about as a grave of a condition where you need to negotiate. But thus far, Diaz Canal, you know, this is probably about as a grave of a condition where you need to negotiate.

But thus far, Diaz Canal, you know, he has not changed economic policies in the face of hardship.

He has not changed repression. He has been very resolute.

But again, when the lights are almost in the point of being shut off in your entire country, you know, even the most resolute dictator, you know, finds us back to a wall and, you know, could be willing to do certain things.

So I'd say anything is possible.

I suspect that some negotiations are going on, but as of yet, we haven't seen D.S. Canal blink.
