I'm John Bachelor. Gregory Copley, Defense and Foreign Affairs is here with me,

and we're looking at the

People's Republic of China. For some time, there's been talk that the leadership of China,

military and civilian, is under a lot of pressure because of the failure of the economic model.

It stopped working. Real estate is a crater. The consumers keep the money and the walls,

the gold at the walls. And the export only economy no longer works. The allies are hip to it,

and they're pushing back, hence the tariff wars, but there's more than that. The Chinese have

lost confidence that they can dig themselves out,

and they're facing becoming a middle power if they're not already a middle power.

And then, Gregory, there is the military commission of the People's Republic of China,

sworn loyalty to the party, not to the state.

The military commission, I believe, had seven members.

Now there are two. She Jinping and a guy who's supposed to be a watchdog, an accountant.

The other five, including the premier uniformed officers in the Chinese People's Liberation Army are gone. One of them accused of

giving atomic weapons secrets to the United States. None of this adds up. Even as a cartoon,

it wouldn't make a lot of sense. Can we solve what we think we see? Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. Well, as we've been discussing

over recent months, China reached its implosion in 2025 and has been trying to sort out

the leadership problems ever since. And that goes back where it reached what could have been

a denouement in October last year with the fourth plenary session

of the Communist Party 20th Congress. It didn't. They allowed in that October gathering,

they allowed Xi Jinping to keep his titles, but basically said, you know, you can't make decisions
