I'm John Bucer with my colleague Alejandro Pini Excluza, who's traveling, but he's helping me to understand the events in Venezuela.

We go from outside to a statement in London that there are four families now competing to be top of the pyramid of the narco-terrorism that is Venezuela and its allies.

The four families are, the Vice President, Delci Rodriguez, her family. Deistado Cabeya, the interior

minister, the guys with guns, his family. Then there's Padrino Lopez, the guys with guns. He's the chief

military officer, the minister of defense. There was reason to believe that he did not survive the attack on the raid on

Caracas, but he did, despite his home and the headquarters being heavily attacked. And then

there's Madura himself, Nicholas Maduro, who's in custody in the United States along with his

wife, but he leaves behind a gang. These are tentacles in all directions, to Colombia, to Brazil, to Central America, to

Nicaragua, especially to Cuba.

So the way this is posed is these four are going to fight it out.

Alejandro, what's your opinion of these four families?

Let's begin with Delcio Rodriguez. What do we need to know about

her and her skills? Well, she represents, well, when we talk about families, probably, we must

say not members of a family, but members of a mafia, led in this case by Delci Rodriguez

and her brother, Jorge Rodriguez. She's a vice president designated by

Maduro, and Jorge Rodriguez is the president of the Congress, a fake Congress, but yeah,

he has that pose. They together, they're very intelligent. They are related to the old left-wing movements because they're sons

of a person who was a terrorist and who belonged also to the left.

So they have all these relations to the old left.

They're ideologically left-wing, not like Padino-Lopez or Giouseo Cabello that are more just corrupt, just wanting

power.

They are ideologically Marxist.
