I'm John Batchel with my colleague Bill Rajo, the Foundation for Defense of Democracy, a senior fellow,

keeping the Long World Journal.

And we welcome also from FD, Edmund Fitton Brown, a former ambassador from the UK to Yemen in the Gulf,

helping us to understand the conflicts as he did for many years working with the United Nations. Now he's with

FDD and other distinguished organizations and can cover the map for us. So we're going to begin with

the sound of gunfire in Tehran. We're told there are dead being brought into hospitals and other

facilities. We're told that there are funerals

without religious celebration, singing anti-regime songs and making declarations. We're told

there anywhere between 60 KIA civilians and hundreds. We're told that the IRGC is deployed. There's reason to believe there are guerrillas from Iraq,

sympathetic to the Tehran regime deployed. The reasons to believe at this point that the besiege,

the militia, is deployed as it was in the 2009 rally protest in Tehran.

The Internet is down, as of now, reporting.

Not only that, Bill Rajon and myself have learned from his colleague,

Jonathan Sire, that the phones are down, except for internal communication by the regime.

The other twist here is that Mr. Trump has spoken several over the last days of intervention in some form.

we're witnessing in Tehran. Is this 2009, go to the brink, and then push them back? Is there
